TuscanyTile2
I think it's been this way for a few years now. It's almost fascinating how we find new ways to reinvent the same story. How funny is it that, amidst all of this turmoil, we play the Super Bowl champs on Sunday night?! And Philly 2 weeks after (also in front of the home crowd) promises to be another epic disaster. I also love that we went from crazy-eyes Gase to a clown cheerleader HC who runs the stairs. You can't make it up!

You can't make it up! Why is it funny that the Jets are playing the Chiefs Sunday night? Look, I'm well beyond letting the Jets ruin my life, let alone my Sundays. However, I never expected to watch a complete repeat of the past two seasons in 2023. And more so, I enjoy watching football on Sundays. When the Jets stink, which has been every season for the past decade, I turn on the Red Zone Channel and am content. Now we have to watch this mess on prime time TV on Sunday. It's not funny. It's awful and it's frustrating.
Barry McCockinner
It's a shame Rodgers couldn't bag Taylor Swift. Would have made for a great storyline.

Funny in the tragedy sense. A team that is in desperate need of a win and we get stuck playing the Super Bowl champs on prime time (and it's a home game, which adds to the pressure). It's always a worst-case scenario with this team.
Ron Rico
I can't wish enough disaster on the ******* NFL for scheduling all these prime time nationally televised Jets games. These are the same bastards who "encouraged" Woody to hire a completely incompetent HC, Herman Edwards, in 2001. that's pretty much what set this entire series of disasters into motion. TuscanyTile2
The Patriots owned this division for years. We always talked about how the pig was ripe. When it finally happened (sort of), we're still a complete mess. Meanwhile, the Dolphins and Bills were bad for years but now they're both very good teams. The only team that couldn't pull itself up was the Jets. To add insult to injury, even the Detroit Lions are good now!

TuscanyTile2
And it's incredible that we let the (arguably) GOAT HC slip through our fingers 2 different times without him coaching a single game for us. And the 2nd time he resigned on a napkin. Now we've pissed him off so much that it's almost like he gets as much enjoyment beating us as he does winning Super Bowls. We trade for A-A-Ron Rodgers and he gets hurt before even completing a pass. What were the odds?! You would think things would work in our favor at some point eventually but it's always one disaster piled on top of another.

In hindsight herm edwards wasn’t that bad lol. Plus he gave us this gem we were 2-5 I think when he said this. We finished 9-7, won the division and then smoked the colts 41-0 in the first round of playoffs.
Creepy Lurker
HBO must be kicking themselves for not making another show about the Jets.
