Trade deadline possibilities

Maybe there is a slim chance they are looking at trading for Mathew Stafford or Kirk Cousins if their teams are not winning. Do you think trading for any of the two would cause a problem with Rogers, or should they cut bait with Rogers and go all in on Kirk if it’s contractualy possible?. Just throwing sh*t at the wall.

Nobody wants Cook.  Nobody wanted him for months when he was a free agent.  And Miami certainly made the right decision by not signing him and going with their current backs.  Mostert and Achane just had the best game two backs from the same team have had in NFL history.

Stafford is the most  over-rated QB of his era.

An interception machine, even in the Rams SB win he

threw 3 balls that should have been ints, An old man

whose position should be listed as injured QB.

I was against signing Rodgers figuring he wouldn't

fit in with our young team. My  best guest he gets injured again in '24

I don't by into that BS that he deserved his last MVP. The playoffs is part of

the season and he went out in the first round. Allen deserved the award

that should be for the entire season. He had a perfect QB rating in the '21

playoffs when he passed for 9 TDs 0 ints. Last year I would have drafted

Hooker in the 2nd, even with us gambling on Rodgers or taken  DTR 3 to 5

He reminds me of Hurts even better athlete much stronger arm. Signed

Johnson Eagles as our OC instead of Hackett. I don't believe in hiring retreads, you find out the team that fired him were more often right than wrong

Other than Huff, you wouldn't get a bag of footballs in return for the rest combined.

Mecole "6 yards" Hardman??

No

We have to stop with the quick fixes and it’s a shame our GM and HC Are in preservation mode because the only thing we should be focusing on is the 2024 QB class.

The only way we will EVER have the team that we all want is hitting on a young QB, period.

Nothing really works for us but short cuts 100000000 % don’t work for Jets.

Cousins is mediocre at best which is a HOF for the jets, but he will never win anything.

You never know and Miami may not be the team.

Ughhh, You just don't know how this works. 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th round picks, does not have to be in 2024 they all will go. They are players teams in the hunt would take a chance on.

Lawson is another FA bust

This is why franchises like the Packers rarely spend big in FA

You just don’t know what you’re gonna get

Theres always a reason the player’s own team is willing to let them walk

Jets consistently pick the wrong guy. Trey Hendrickson was FA at the same time, same position. Jets preferred Lawson. Contracts were similar. Hendrickson has been a pro-bowler and sack machine.

Yeah I’ve posted about this as well.

Hendrickson is an elite pass rusher who actually gets home, whereas Lawson was a “pressures king” who so far this year has been just invisible.

Teams who are "in the hunt" will have zero interest in the likes of Carl Lawson, Dalvin Cook and Mecole Hardman. IMHO.

Yeah teams will be lining up around the corner to pay CJ Mosley $1MM per game lol.

Cook wouldn’t return much; best they’d get out of it is not paying the rest of this year’s $ which is still worth it. Was a head scratcher signing him when they already had 4 rostered RBs at the time.

They most likely get more for Lawson in the form of a 2025 comp pick after the season. Hard to see how anyone’s going to want to trade a pick for 2/3 of a season that’s started out so weak.

Huff could get something in return because he’s cheap for the rest of the year & young enough that a team might want to extend for 2-3 more. Will they get more than the comp pick they’d get for simply letting him go after the season? Absent a contender getting suddenly desperate for an edge rusher due to a starter injury I think it’s on the fence how they’d net more.

Totally agree with this but not sure we trade Mosely only because there is no replacement for him. I would add Max Mitchell to the list.  I have never seen a player so over his head except maybe Zach.

Fortunately, we don't play Miami until week 12. It must be a whole other level of humiliation to look up at the scoreboard during a game and see your opponent has scored 70 points against you like the Fins did last week against the Broncos.

Looked like Payton emailed McD the defensive game plan.

Had Saleh took Zach out of the pats game, jets are 2-1. Now they are about to be 1-3. JD would rather go down with sinking ship Capt zach, then do what’s best for team.
