Rank the worst Jets QB you’ve seen start games

Recommended Posts

I started watching Jets everyday in 1995 with good memory.

1. Luke Falk

2. Bryce Petty

3. Kellen Clemens

4. Rick Mirer

5. Zach Wilson

6. Bubby Brister

From there you had some other turds

Brooks Bollinger and Neil O’Donnell being examples. Obviously Hackenberg would be #1, but he never started a game.

Thoughts?

My God ..  are you trying to torture us?  My PTSD from watching them is coming back.  I’d rather rank my last 6 hemorrhoids.

If I was gay and this was a list of love, marry or kill, I’d kill all of them.

They are all awful.  Zach is the worst NFL QB I have had the bad luck to watch.  Clemons is the best of the rotten bunch.

At least guys like Nagle and Petty competed and the org never felt the need to swaddle them in a binkie every second of every day while they were under contract.

Very true. Also forgot Jack Trudeau started for the Jets in 94- video evidence

He wasn’t bad! Esiason was a total bag of sh*t at that point and I remember Trudeau providing a nice little break from him

Geno Smith lol. Now he is on a team who has a real coaching staff and developed him. It's amazing how we can't hit on a damn freaking QB. Horrible personnel and scouting.

Luke Falk and Bill Demory are the two worst QBs to start a game for the Jets. Without a doubt

PS if you count the strike team games of 1987, David Norrie also gets a mention

Richard Todd in the Mud Bowl

Bubby Brister with the shovel pass to give an expansion team its 1st win.

That I have watched ever in my life?

Zach Wilson number one two and three and it's not even close

Never have I ever watched a QB run backwards in the field when he sees pressure. Never have I ever seen a QB sack himself. I don't need any more reasons

Geno used to run backwards, too. There's the incredibly run backwards to the end zone, fumble the ball off his own ass and give up a defensive TD. Worse than anything ZW has done. Worse than the original buttfumble.

Like I said, "that I watched". After the 2010 season, I took a 10 year break from the Jets.

It might be time for another decade long sabbatical from this team.😄

Off topic, but I was at the Giants v Redskins 7-7 tie when Gus Frerotte headbutted the concrete wall and concussed himself.

I wish I had thought of that first.

But yeah, it's Zach. He's both bad and boring. And the #2 overall pick.

Although Luke Falk did guide the Jets to a +19 Cover over Tom Brady.  I knew it was the lock of the year.  90% of the country laid the 19 per Vegas.

I always hate the Jets playing a QB who I can throw a ball faster than with my non throwing arm.  Falk was one, who was that kid with 2 T’s to his name first and last?  No one mentioned him in this thread, from Cal I think.  His rag was on par with Falk.  Taylor right? that was his name.
