Throw the conservative BS out the window and just sling the ball. Take downfield shots. If the Jets take a couple deep shots early and maybe even catch them on their heels early it will change the whole attitude of the team no matter how bad Zach plays for the rest of the game. In the Willie Gay interview, he said "I don't know if the Jets won their last game but I know their running game is really going right now" At the very least, this one guy has not actually watched anything about the Jets offense. Defense gets a lot harder when your offense can't score points or stay on the field. Dallas was definitely on them too but ToP was completely lopsided in that game because of an inept offense. All I'm saying is you can't get pressure on a QB or cause INTs when the other team can just hand it off. Being ahead on the scoreboard allows for pass rushers to get after it. It could be much more a legit trap game if I thought this team could actually game plan well but they are very stubborn on defense and want to just play their awesome system. Against special players or combos of players you have to compromise system to mitigate those players. That is why Bellichick has been so damn good for so long and why guys like Bowles and Saleh suck. The jets should do something different on defense, blitz like hell or go 3 man rush more and stack the short zone, they should compromise the D to try and mitigate kelce. There’s one franchise here with a history of prime time no-shows / debacles / butt fumbles, and it’s not the team in red and white. The only positive thing about this game is we get to see the legacy jerseys and helmets again. Because Woody is stupid, it’s the last time this season we’ll get to see them. I was more so talking about the engine that drives the Chiefs, Reid/Mahomes. They aint sleeping on the Jets D, so from that perspective, they're not not coming in here and overlooking that Jets, that was my point. I dont know if you watched the QB thingy on Netflix but Mahomes is the ultimate competitor. I dont think he allows that offense to overlook anyone.
