How much time/money do you spend on the NY Jets?

Way too much time

I guess for a single person is not as bad as someone in a relationship. I think the obsession towards this team would be detrimental for any couple.

I bought a legacy Breece Hall jersey a couple of days before opening night. I bought a Jets hat and a few shirts last year. Other than that, really not much in the way of money.

the big thing I sacrifice for this team is my time. But, of course, time is money . . .

My x wife destroyed thousands of dollars of NY Jets clothing memorabilia merchandise collectibles…..it brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it.

That's just awful, but at the end it is replaceable or not as important. Try to live a holistic lifestyle and detach yourself from material things, people or feelings.

Nothing on merch the last 10 years. I watch when they are on national tv, headed to a sports bar when they aren’t.

Which jersey do you wear to the games?  My last jersey was a Mark Sanchez one, but I lost it or dumped it.  I might consider purchasing a jersey if they make the playoffs in the future, that's about it money wise.

$1,200 may not seem to be a lot, but when you really look at the dividends it makes you think otherwise.

The dividends are my kids remember me taking them out to eat, and taking 2 of them to their 1st ever football game.

My wife loves football, I got my son into fantasy football, so we have stuff to talk about every weekend, and we laugh at how poorly the team is run.  I was pissed when Rodgers got hurt, but after a few hours I let it go.

This is entertainment, a reason to hang out and talk.  This isn't real life.  My cousin dying a month after getting married is real life.

From the money side, absolutely nothing.  They almost sucked me in on one of those new Jerseys they put out this year, and after I read and saw a video of the corners Nike cut, I said not happening.

Time, I spend way too much time. I was having withdrawals when this site was unavailable this past weekend.

0 merch. Don’t pay for Sunday ticket. Last year went to GB for the game which was a ton of fun but a few thousand and made a vacation out of it. Go to maybe 1 game every couple years.

time - entirely too much

I'm here too. I don't love close so spending less is easier. I stream games illegally. I refuse to buy merch until we have something worth buying. I won't go to a game to see us get blown out by 30. But my time. Spend lots of that unfortunately.

Every year I say I don't need any merch yet I continue to buy.  This year I'm at about $500 (me and my daughter) and holding off on getting the Nike sneakers which eventually I will give in to.  SMH.

I spend a lot of time when i include looking at my phone every time I get a tweet notification.

Very little on both anymore, I used to spend huge amounts of both, even my forum time is way down, I buy nothing Jets related, go to no games. If I can I watch them, but I won't even change plans or plan around them anymore. This is coming from someone who probably missed 3 home games from 81 to 2009 or whatever year the stupid PSL came out and we gave them the finger over it. I had so much Jets gear, spent so much time. Now I its like a bad habit like biting your nails or something you try not to do but every once in a while out of habit you still do

I bought a ROgers Jersey, because I'm an idiot and a Glutton for punishment. Nearly $200. It is absolute trash, an d I should have returned it, but I'm too lazy. SO its relegated to the SIberia of the guest room closet, along with herseys of such luminaries as:

Kyle Brady. Yeah, sure did..

Chad Pennington

Wayne Chrebet; My favorite, but I was 40 pounds lighter in '97, so my kids can have it. or something.

Kris Jenkins.

Curtis Martin

Joe Klecko Throwback from Mitch and Ness. I was wearing that jersey when A-A Ron went down, so it shall never be worn again.

Bart Scott

Nick Mangold.

I am dumb.
