Popular Post Jet_Engine1
After 5 months of hype and coverage, AR8 goes down... the Jets are totally unprepared for that possibility... The Jets stubbornly and insanely insist Zach Wilson is their only path forward, and refuse to bring in a viable QB for over 2 weeks. The Jets are blown out by Dallas, and then in usual pathetic fashion. Lose to the Patriots for the 15th straight meeting while the Defense holds them to 13 points. Atmospheric pressure increases rapidly and exponentially from the fanbase, the sports media, and the NFL world at large, from former players, coaches and GMs, and everyone with any sort of platform screaming that Wilson is not the only problem, but the biggest problem. The Coaching staff insists otherwise, and dismissing more competent players, the GM brings Trevor Siemien in, to the Practice Squad. Pressure intensifies, Joe Namath, the eternal optimistic, supportive Jets fan makes National News, blasting the staff, GM, and QB. Suddenly, the Jets are faced with a Prime Time meeting with the defending SB champions. A new front develops.... Taylor Swift, somehow and for some reason a cultural phenomenon, will be attending the game at MetLife Stadium. Secondary market tickets double in price. Outlets like Entertainment Weekly and Vanity Fair are suddenly interested in a Football game. People who have never purposefully watched a Football game in their lives will be tuning in tonight in the MILLIONS to watch the game. In another development, Aaron Rodgers is miraculously out of a walking boot and cleared to travel East. He heads to the Jets facility. All of these systems will converge on East Rutherford New Jersey tonight at 8:20 pm. The WORLD will be watching. The Jets, their QB, and their coach... they are NOT PREPARED for what is coming. To paraphrase Shannon Sharpe, the Governor should activate the National Guard immediately. When the New York Jets are DESTROYED in front of possibly the largest audience to ever witness a regular season game in NFL history, the situation will become catastrophic. 10 1 1 4 1

Popular Post Joe Willie White Shoes
The football world doesn't give a rat's ass about this game. The swifties are watching just to see camera shots of her and don't care who the QB of the Jets is. They don't even care who the QB of the Chiefs is. These are the same people who watch the SB for the halftime show. 5

Tonight they become a national punchline. ESPN, NFLN, SNY, The Athletic, every Sports writer in the country are salivating for the coming bloodbath. Who knows? If it gets Wilson faded into Bolivia and Saleg officially on the hot seat, it may be a net positive. 2

Popular Post T0mShane
Glazer confirming on FOX that the whole locker room is anti-Zach. Russini reporting that this is Zach’s last chance. Mariucci saying he was texting a Jets coach who kept reiterating that Zach had to be “ON TIME” with his passes. Every pregame show doing Taylor Swift puns all day. The whole world tuning in to watch Taylor Swift cheering from a luxury box. Game is going to be a disaster. I wouldn’t blame Zach Wilson for faking a sprained ankle in warmups. 9 2

The D will have to play game of its like to keep jets in this 1. This will likely be Zach Wilson’s last game playing in NFL.

Popular Post Joe Willie White Shoes
The real perfect storm from a football standpoint (not the teenage white girl standpoint) is going to be next week when the Jets can't score against an epically bad Denver defense that is letting the Bears prehistoric offense and a terrible Justin Fields march up and down the field. Next week - the stoppable force vs the movable object 1 1

Beerfish
This was far from the perfect storm scenario. A huge rogue wave coming out of no where to swamp the good ship jets, somewhat unforeseen? The Jets are more like Gilligans island and the ss minnow. Douglas is the skipper and Saleh is Gilligan, Oh they have Ginger and Maryann some real talent but like Gilligan they don't know what to do with them.

No. The rogue wave was the first event, leading to the coming storm. A rogue wave that happened after they decided to turn off the Tsunami bouys and refuse to repair the warning sirens that should have been there just in case. (that's an allegory for refusing to sign a competent QB2, BTW. 😆) Actually, the refusal to back up AR8 with anyone other than Wilson and Aaron's caddy is right up there with Kotites, "Yeah, it'll be great" attitude towards starting a Rookie OT against LT in 95.

hawk
If all of this is true, I hope the spotlight of the absolutely worst position player to ever play the game is completely and utterly embarrassed to the point the absolutely worst owner is completely and utterly embarrassed to the point he has a light bulb moment of he has no clue of how to run a business and 1.) Realizes that playing a player for recognition for something outside of football is not quite as important and 2.) He sells the team. I will always root for the New York Jets to win and each player on the New York Jets, but if this gets bad enough maybe, just maybe there could be a positive from it.
