The Bears basically kicked him off the team because he’s such an a$$hole

and their struggling QB immediately started playing better.

Claypool was out on the field dogging it hard. He was good in Pitt though. Not sure if this is the situation to bring out the best in him but I'm a little surprised Miami was willing to give him a try given their WR corps.

That's great for Miami, their offense will continue to dominate most teams and having an extra insurance should be emulated by this organization as well.  If Wilson goes down, we are in a word of hurt.

I agree about Wilson but adding Claypool to a Zach Wilson lead team was not the answer. He has attitude problems and was dogging it on the field. Look at how much Fields improved when they told him to stay away.

  • Call it what you want, but the Patriots and the Dolphins are trading for missing/supplemental pieces to make a playoff run.    Unfortunately, in today's NFL teams that are close need to make moves like that as teams who see their seasons as hopeless "tank" for next year.
  • JD and the Jets are standing pat with what we have.
  • That is what I would do.  Let the team compete with what it has.  I would even trade a piece or two for the future.   Let Zach develop into something.  If someone needs Bryce Huff, they can have him.

Exactly, but some depth at WR would have made much more sense than Cook's signing.  Cook's signing may come down as JD's worst free agent acquisitions.

To think Cook was holding out for a multi-year deal! Even he knew his career was coming to an end and wanted a money grab!
