How can someone intercept a ball that wasn't interceptable?

i think maybe they are saying besides the interception these other balls also could have been intercepted.

ex: Cousins threw 4 INTs, plus another 3 balls could have been intercepted, instead of out of 7 interceptable balls he only had 4 INTS.

I'm not sure, but I figure it has to be either that or they're taking away INTs thrown that were not really the fault of the QB, such as those that bounced off the hands of a receiver before getting picked.

The only thing I can think of is a pass that went through a WR's hands and got tipped into the air.
