The Jets Are At The Precipice Of An Enormous Crossroad

No crossroads.

The coach and gm have the Rodgers injury excuse and lousy QB at the helm.  (Who they decided to retain).

The team has some talent but imo the coaching staff absolutely does not use it to the best effect.

This year very quickly became a 'does not matter ' year once Rodgers went down.

(It shouldn't be this way but there is no chance Woody makes any moves due to the injury and there will be zero accountability by anyone in the org....just bad luck you know.)

💯

And if Rodgers comes back and we’re able to hold on to a talented team and be aggressive in FA I would be more than happy to call this season a mulligan without cleaning house. Clean house after Rodgers retires and Zach is completely done. Not in his 3rd season.  When the JG/coach contracts are up anyway. You can wipe the slate clean with this whole team in 2025 if you want to.

You know the season is still young and Yama, Yama, Yama so from that aspect it’s not a must win but saleh has been preaching this all gas no brake and it’s time for this team to put some serious hurt on another. I think a really good performance (and win) will set the tone for next weeks game with Philly. Philly maybe a top team but they can be beat.

The teams share revenue.   Every owner is on a super highway blocked from traffic to untold riches.   There are no crossroads just exit ramps.   Enjoy the game.  Don’t make a big deal about the outcome.    It’s either fun or it’s frustrating.   In the grand scheme it doesn’t matter even a little bit.   Hope we win today.  If we lose will all be fine including JD and Saleh.

Not a ton of upside here.  Lose and I think we’re pretty much all at least done with Saleh, if not the entire regime.  Win would be big but wouldn’t exactly restore a ton of faith in the CS/front office.   Be much bigger for Zach than the CS, probably.

Saleh needs to coach like his job depends on it tomorrow.

Saleh is going nowhere. Neither is Douglas.

Just stop it with the incessant "Fire <insert name of anybody> that pisses off Jets nation for 'n' baseless reason"

I’m talking about the fan perspective not Woody’s.  Of course he isn’t firing anyone.

There’s no reason for this fanbase to trust, at minimum, the CS if they can’t pull out a W this week.  Saleh has been given PLENTY of rope at this point.
