Well then even at that he failed this week, lol.  1 INT, 2 fumbles, buncha sacks taken, and directly costing the team points on that end-of-the-half drive.

He plays scared and still f**ks up anyways.

I think he is learning just how much harder it is to be NFL QB.  It's taking a hell of a long time for things to sink in but little by little he is getting it.  He might very well progress all the up to jag level by season's end.  Go Jets!  Here's hoping for more better.

Im not praising Zach in any way, but when your RB is literally having an epic performance, why would you take chances?  He managed the game perfectly.

As far as the end of the half, I really dont see how its on zach, to me its completely on Saleh having no clue when it comes to clock or game management.  If you want to run a play with so little time on the clock and no TOs, then there is only one option - throw to the endzone and thats it.

He threw a RZ pick, fumbled twice, and took 4 sacks.  That isn't good game management.  How do you f**k up that many times when you're only asked to make 21 throws against a horrid defense?

Also managed to not only throw a pass in bounds that cannot happen at the end of the half but proceeded to slow walk up to the line as time ran out!.........D puts up 9 points and 3 TO's had Denver go 3 and out for most of the second half and we eke out a win against a D that has been mauled all year.

He had no urgency to set up the spike before the half.  He rarely has any urgency to convert 3rd downs the way he checks it down constantly.  He checked it down on 4th down in the NE game - absolutely inexcusable.  Every time we're in a 2-minute situation he wastes a TO by running for 6 yards.  People see he stopped throwing so many INTs and think he's improved substantially.  Truth is he just checks it down, rarely converts and drives down the field, and rarely scores points.  He is not even at a game manager level - because game managers understand you need to get the ball passed the sticks to continue on offense.  He went through a phase last year where he was blindly throwing the ball away because he couldn't make a throw - even on 3rd down.

He went from throwing INTs to throwing it away to checking it down.  None of which help an offense whatsoever.  BUT HIS COMPLETION PERCENTAGE WAS 73% INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!

3 of 12 on 3rd down

199 yards

0 TDs

22 offensive points on the back of Breece Hall against a terrible team/defense

This charade is going to end one way or another.

Rodgers butt boy Hackett sent out a TE to be wide open in bounds when we were in FG range but Zach’s a dope for throwing it to him before the half with no time outs.  The half ends if Zach spikes the ball on an illegal procedure penalty.   That wasn’t on Zach, the coaching staff mismanaged the end of the half.

carry on…

Some gorgeous throws and another good completion percentage

still too many missed opportunities and hiccups. The play before the half can never happen. Took too many sacks. Too gunshy in the redzone.

That’s fair.  The red zone has to be improved by ZW.  I like that he is getting rid of the ball quicker and stepping into the pocket and that he isnt running backwards anymore and just using legs to gain yards.  Obviously  you don’t want to see a pick at that spot but at least he was getting it to his top WR and it took a great play for the CB to come up with it.  Still a work in progress but we at least see some improvements

eventually.  but if the defense continues to play well lackluster play will be disguised.

don't get me wrong last 2 weeks he's been much better but  he's also made some pretty poor throws that were caught by the receivers to bail him out.  i know it's hard but i expect to see the ball thrown on the money to the wr not behind/above/long/short.

I'm pretty sure if he is being coached to cut down on the turnovers it wouldn't be the first time an NFL team did so, I always hated the quote, "...any drive that ends with a kick is okay," but in this case I agree. Zach is growing up before our eyes, he's 23, and he will be a quality NFL QB sooner rather than later. Look at the improvement we've seen already and just enjoy the fact it's happening.

He is putting it together slowly and not as many bonehead mistakes. Gunshy is on the playcalling and coddling. It is all getting better. I believed in Zach, and still do. He is going to be lights out. Best Wilson QB in the league.

This feels like what his rookie year should have been like.  And maybe he can continue to build on this.

I’ve looked at the improvement, I see him being somewhat less bad but he still doesn’t see the field or make the right reads 80% of the time. Looks more confused than I do after reading the menu when somebody invites me to a Vegan restaurant. “ Excuse me young server person, I seem to got only the list of plate garnishes, not the entrees.”

I didn’t see the last play of the first half last night.  It’s really Zach in a nutshell. Athletic run, NFL level throw to Lazard, then a brain fart.

I don’t know if he’ll ever get over the hump but paying attention to his career the key to unlocking his potential is through his psyche.  Tough love backfired but Rodgers and Hack positivity and support has made a difference.

The game plan against the Chiefs was throw early and often to keep pace with them , but they should have given Hall 5 more touches, the Broncos game plan was run them into the ground and let Zach sprinkle in sone throws.

the eagles are set up for a lethal attack off play action.  Hack has to see it.

Hall has to be respected now. No flea flicker, just a classic play action shot deep and outside, low risk throws. They will beat the eagles.

You have to ignore that Zach is completing 18% more of his passes for 1 yard more per attempt. Otherwise you’re a homer.

Coming from the guy who praised MW to no end. Guy had 8tds and 12 ints 2 fumbles in 8 games with the Jets 🤣🤣

^^^ Knocked down a journeyman backup in an effort to prop up the stiff # 2 overall pick.

The Jets had five 30+ points games from 2021-2022.  4 of them were engineered by QBs not named Zach Wilson.

Raise your standards.

I don’t care what pick Zach was. I’m a Jets fan and root for him because he’s the starter now. He’s a backup who’s playing well enough to win. If he gets benched then I’ll root for Simian too.

seems like you just get joy in yelling to the clouds about the QB who threw for 73% comp % and the team won. This just shows your anti Zach bias
