I see "PFF" and I ignore.

I am not using the PFF stats, but it's just a small size sample that we he even cracked the top 20 on this sh*tty list,  That says something about the usual Jets trend on players' development.

you guys put WAY too much stock into PFF rankings.  remember when they had Q ranked super low last year?

GW did awesome last year - with 4 different QBs.

he's gotta get better AS the #1.  he seems to have struggled this year against PS2, Diggs and a rookie in Gonazalez - GW has to be better.

Breece Hall's career also being tainted.

I love Breece Hall, but he did have a bunch of 2 and 3 yarders.  I believe their format has to do with basic math per attempts. Not defending them, but there has to be a logic behind their crazy science.  Again, not supporting their standards, because the PFF bible is a 300 page training document and there are too many hands involved in the process.

Uh, except that you did. Any list that has Jakobi Meyers over GW is garbage. Wake up.

Yoi should present an objective counterpoint with references and stats to backup the PFF dislike with an actual reliable source (in accordance to your opinion).

How many yards have G. Wilson racked this year?

Bronx: Posts PFF stats and goes on to point at them saying the Jets are ruining Garrett Wilson

Jets Things; PFF is worthless garbage that no human with a functioning brain should consider useful for anything other than wiping their ass.

Bronx: I'm not using PFF!

Yeah, I'm not gonna do that. I don't bury myself in the minutiae.

@Bronx here's some non-PFF stats/rankings for G. Wilson that help your cause:

  • Catch rate:  55.8 % (157th)
  • Yards per Target:  6.5 (95th)
  • Success %:  34.9 (124th)
  • Average Depth of Target:  10.3 (66th)
  • INT's when targeted:  3 (t-1st/most)
  • QB Rating when targeted:  62.1 (173rd)

Link please, so I can please Barry Manilow in the future.

So you used PFF in the OP, denied using them when someone says PFF sucks and you’re defending using them now?

Garrett Wilson almost tainted the Jets win in Denver by letting a pass go right through his hands and got intercepted by Surtain.  He should take the D out to dinner or that loss is on him.

Also, on the nice palyaction from Zach, he inexplicibly fell down for no reason and cost us YAC on that play.

Garrett Wilson is far from perfect and the Jets are not ruining anything w/ him.

Zach blows but to be fair we have played 3 of the top 10 passing defenses in the league in our 5 games. In one of the games we weren't facing a top 10 pass D they had an awful run D and we intelligently ran the ball up their ass with our beast of a RB all day. Kid won offensive rookie of the year on this team last year with Zach taking significant snaps.

I'll wait for this to balance out a little before pulling any Garrett Wilson fire alarms.

Oh, and PFF is trash. Did I mention that yet?

It’s silly to focus on these stats after so few games.  The jets are only now getting their offense set for life without Rodgers.  Garrett Wilson will get his.  But the thing to remember is this team isn’t set up to throw much more than 30-35 times per game especially with hall running so well.

Wilson's career has taken a complete halt in 2023 and that is a fact.
