Are we talking about these players in their prime or when they were Jets?

I refuse to pick anyone from the flyboys era.

Picking them in their prime:

Marshall

Walker

Toon

Flashlight

Picking from when they were Jets:

Toon

Walker

Coles

Flashlight

I guess it's pretty good when the biggest busts people can bring up were all 2nd rounders.  Jets don't draft WR's much in the 1st, but when they do they typically turn into solid players.  Garrett in 2022, then a huuuuuge gap to Santana Moss in 2001, to Keyshawn in '96, to Toon in '85.

Basically if we take a WR in the 1st, he's gonna pan out.  Now that I say this though, we'll probably end up with Kadarius Toney next time we try.

As far as the OP though:  Cotchery, Chrebet, Marshall, Toon.

Blocking everyone that doesn't include Chrebet.

Toon, Chrebet, Edwards, Marshall

I could maybe understand Coles over Chrebet.  I wouldn’t, of course, hence the 80 in my username.  But I’d get it.

But taking Moss is straight up blasphemy.  Ban-worthy.

Toon, walker, moss, Marshall.  Moss mainly because he was a heck of a punt returner.

@faba ban all these people

santana moss was a better receiver than chrebet. i know chrebet has a special place in people's hearts but the truth is, if you are picking the 5 best receivers in jets history he doesn't make the list

The question was to build the perfect WR room, Moss in the slot over Chrebet all day any day, and if Keyshawn was in the picture with the flashlight, he would have also been picked over the flashlight. Instead of Moss.

Big bodies over the midgets and out of the all the midgets, Moss was the best one of the bunch.
