HBO's Hard Knocks has made its decision on which team will be featured on the latest in-season edition of the behind the scenes documentary.

The Miami Dolphins are the subject of this year's Hard Knocks in-season showcase, HBO and the NFL announced on Monday afternoon.

The program previously featured the New York Jets on its preseason version.

Hard Knocks has been covering one team per year in training camp for more than two decades, beginning with the Baltimore Ravens in 2001.
Since 2021, the popular show has incorporated an in-season version, which followed the Indianapolis Colts in 2021 and the Arizona Cardinals last season.

The Dolphins should make for interesting subject matter, given the fact they are one of the NFL's best teams and boast one of the league's most explosive offenses. They also have a unique head coach in Mike McDaniel who should be fun to observe.

Miami is now 5-2 on the year after falling to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football last night.

If you're an "in season" pick of HK, does that give you the same "protections" from having to be on the show again in the next 10 years (or whatever the number was)?   Or are they considered separate things and the Jets could potentially be forced to do an in-season thing next year?

Can’t have someone in a longboat hoping it sinks because he said it would and has to be right. Over the side with both the traitors.  The Dolphins? Of all the teams.  The Dolphins?

I mean wanting white to succeed and Zach to fail is inexcusable.

It is amazing how they're sold as this cute upstart story when they were so criminally negligent in their handling of Tua's concussions last year that he basically died on the field at one point and their star wideout is one of the biggest pieces of sh*t in the league

Somehow I forgot that they also forfeited a first-round pick for tampering. lol what a dogsh*t organization

It’s weird how they are trying to sell McDaniel to the masses. He is a smart coach but I don’t see the intrigue. He sounds wasted ever time he speaks. I don’t really care to see the wife and child beater either talking about being a porn star when he retires.

who is "they"???

when are coaches sold to the masses.

this seems illogical

Lots of storylines makes MIA attractive. A team seemingly on the rise to be a serious competitor in the league, but on the other hand their schedule is harder moving forward with the Bills nipping at their heels. It also ropes the Jets back into the Hard Knocks story. Tua's return gets roped into there and I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL wants to see Tua emerge as a more prominent player.

They did a NFL show on him also a documentary about his Addiction to booze, always try to make him out to be this funny quirky coach. Don’t know how it seems illogical, maybe e you haven’t seen the press on him. They? That would be the NFL.

Exactly right,  TUA with all the concussion drama last year,  now they want to spotlight him.  Regardless of division rivals the Dolphins are the least intriguing. Those uniforms hurt my eyes when I look at them.

They’re pushing McDaniel as the new look for the nfl to hopefully expand their audience … gen z has cash & the nfl wants it .. push someone who resembles them in not only looks but in personality & vice & hopefully cash in .. wait for the fins to start getting some “favorable” calls from the “virtuous” refs.

”They’re” … if any need to ask, is the nfl brass.

My guess is they do shows on a lot of coaches.
