Bryce Hall's re-emergence

Wondered if his start a couple of weeks ago may have been a fluke but then turned in another solid effort vs Philly.  Not sure how many folks realize just how little he saw the field last season, playing only fifteen snaps all year.

In two starts this season, he's back in the conversation as a high level backup and possible spot starter/CB2.

Not surprising.  Remember back at his draft year he was considered a steal where we got him and only lasted that long because of injury.  Plus he showed good signs in his rookie year.  When we got Reed and Sauce it kind of put him on the back burner

All true, but then he got overtaken on the depth chart by a rookie who was drafted 200th overall in the sixth round, getting him on the field for just 15 snaps last season.  It was losing his job to a rook that had me convinced he was on thin ice.

JD's first draft starting to pay dividends.  Becton is straight baller status, Davis playing the best he has in his career and Hall having a bounce back year showing he can still start at CB in this league.

But I thought JD hasn't done anything right while with the Jets and all the players suck (especially the 2022 draft) and anybody who disagrees doesn't know anything about football!

Credit to him, he has responded very professionally to his situation. Didn't moan about being demoted (at least, nothing that we heard of), he's kept his head down and worked hard to be ready when called upon.

A refreshing change to all the players who demand trades the minute things don't go their way.

I like when we wait more then 6 weeks into a players career to see if they turn out to be a good player or not.
