Green Jets & Ham
I have Travis Hafner ... had him in my lineup ... he hit two HR's last nite and I didn't gain a singal point I had other contributors as well, but how can one of my players hit two HR's and I don't gain a singal point ... had four points yesterday and four points today ... what's up with that? Ham, it's a head to head league. You gain points by beating your opponent in a particular category. Click on the "view matchup" link and it will show you what categories you're leading in and what categories you're behind in for the week. If you went in to yesterday already beating your opponent in HRs, you only kept the point you already had, didn't gain any. If you're down in HRs, then it was by more than two because the HRs Haffner hit did not put you in the lead for the week. In addition, even if Haffner did give you a lead, it's possible that somebody on your opponents team did something that took the lead in a category that you had the lead in the day before. There are 16 categoris (8 for pitching, 8 for offense) If your scoreboard says 9-5, that means two of the categories are a tie and nobody gets a point. OIC, thanks for the explanation AFJ ... very different than fantasy football ... you don't really get points for what your players accomplish unless it exceeds that of your opponent {head-to-head} GOT IT
