The JETS need to drown out the wannabe coaches and GMs (yes us) the media… etc

Stick with Saleh and Douglas.

Bill Belichick whether we like it or not will go down as the greatest coach ever… and has a losing record without Brady…

Coaches don’t play… and when their QB sucks… there really isn’t much they can do.

That staff that started him with no plan B? Yeah he ruined them, but only because they let him., but yeah. Sucks

And Douglas and Saleh did nothing but throw out the worst QB in the league week after week until the season was over. **** those losers.

Why has the “great staff” continued to march a massive liability out there? Hasn’t it been clear he’s not it for over a year+? That “great staff” can’t so easily escape this fact.

This. X 100000000

If the coaching staff and front office is so great how are they so inept.

It’s Completely incompetent to trot ZW out there for the last 9 weeks

The staff put together one of the best defenses in the league and there is something to be said for that.

No there isn’t.

Stefanski hired Schwartz and he turned that D into a beast in a year. They are relevant because they score enough points to win, even if they are pummeled with adversity and injuries.

Also, not settling for the backup QBs in the building.

Schwartz is about to go on a huge losing streak, their schedule is brutal. Daboll hates Schwartz and Leslie Frazer left to take no job. Their Super Bowl window is closing rapidly and they are barely a .500 team. Not the best example, since Daboll turned Allen around and he is gone now.

I am in no way defending Saleh, he has so much to prove because these losing streaks are a year after year thing.

That said, Joe Douglas sets the roster. So Zach being bad and the backups being bad, that is on Douglas.

So there is something to say for being able to build a top defense and special teams unit.

My point is, there’s nothing to say for it if you aren’t willing to capitalize by investing equally in scoring points.

ST and D don’t put you over the top. My point with Cleveland is that they see what they have and didn’t say, “PJ Walker is fine.” They’re at least throwing a dart.

They invested in Aaron Rodgers and got his coordinator. He got hurt.

Saleh is choosing between Tim Boyle and Zach Wilson.

So there is something to say for a staff that has 2/3 right and has nothing to choose from.

Saleh might prove to be nothing more than a good defensive coordinator, time will tell. But the offensive problems run deep and they are more on Douglas than Saleh right now.

ZW is what he is —- a very limited bottom tier backup qb, and its hard to win with that level of qbing.  Having said that, its clear that Hackett is part of the problem (just like everywhere else he coached).

Saleh, Ulbrich and Special teams are generally ok, and the GM produced a roster that could have gone to the playoffs without the injuries.

We can complain about the lack of plan Bs, but I think the staff knew that Hackett was a requirement to get Rogers and that he could fix whatever shortcomings he had (indeed even make him thrive).  When Rogers went down, the staff knew perfectly well the season was over.

The nightmare scenario is that we waste another season (and high draft picks getting Adams) in the hope that Rogers comes back like he used to be and that it doesn’t work out.  That would be really tragic, but you can already see the tea leaves beginning to float in that direction.

Agree to disagree. I’m already on-record that it was irresponsible to acquire Rodgers, then do nothing to fix OL. Nothing real, that is. Not relative to how bad our season blew up because of the OL last year.

Is what it is. This point we’re just looking for bright spots.

Yeah but the roster is on the GM. So if Rodgers was a bad move, which I think it will prove to be a good one, that isn't on the staff.
