Claymation
Your QB play isn’t good. So run the ball. Find their weakness and run the ball. This is on Saleh. He needs to go to Hackett and say we need to run the ball 25 to 30 times a game. And they should do one thing good on offense. Run the ball.

Barton
The Oline has 1 good run blocker. And he's a rookie. And the defense knows the QB cant complete an 8 yard pass. This offense couldnt run the ball in a video game.

As bad as they were and much less talented he had a good line and ran the ball. I'm so disgusted with the team right now.
Darnold's Forehead
You need atleast a good OL with a bad QB or a good QB with a bad OL to have offensive success. We currently have terrible OL with terrible QB(s). Add in a bad playcaller and you have statistically one of the worst offenses in NFL history. 3
Grandy
We try, and we fail. Hackett loves starting every fresh set of downs with a run up the gut, which doesn't work and Hackett never gets creative with our playbook.

Trust me, I’m sure everyone involved would want this to be a run first team. Control the clock, play defense, limit the exposure of your bad QB. Saleh, Ulbrich, Hackett, Boyle, Wilson, Hall, the OL, etc. all would be fully onboard with running the ball more. But the offensive line is getting whipped at the line of scrimmage. “Running more” is basically asking for more third and longs and three and outs (if that’s even possible.)
Flea Flicking Frank
When an offensive line is dominated , it’s impossible to play good offensive football. This has been the case with this line for the past few years. The history of the nfl has shown this, yet , jets fans put all the blame on the qb for everything. It’s stupid. When you have a good line and bad qb play, the qb is a clear problem. When you have bad line play, it’s impossible to play offense regardless of qb. It’s football 101, which eludes our fan base
CanadienJetsFan
They don’t/can’t run the ball. It’s quite sad. The McDaniel’s run offence was avant-guard, cutting edge with multiple players always in motion, keeping the defence always on their toes. Our? 3 inches and a cloud of dust.

Yup, but you need a line to do both, or, an OC who can scheme around a bad line which most can’t, and ours definitely can’t

Along with a few other teams. The issue is we also don’t have coaches that have a clue how to work with what they have.

rangerous
It takes a certain attitude to run. And it also takes keeping the other team at no more than a score ahead. Running eventually wears down the other team but it doesn’t work so well if the other team can at least do multi first down drives to give their defense a rest. Not #2 decent but they can develop. Breece Hall should be shut down for the season. He is clearly not healthy enough to cut well enough to make plays with this OL. He is a year away and we should not risk him not being 100% next year. Run Cook into the ground. And in case no one has noticed Hall us giving like 60% effort. But the reality is that the Jets have no creativity whatsoever. We need to run but we can't line up and run between the tackles. We need to use motion misdirection RPO play action and short passes to create mismatches we can run with. We need to move the pocket and throw deep a lot until we get 6 in the box. We need to be under center more. We need to never ever be in 5 wide. Ever. But we just run the same plays over and over that literally have zero chance at success. Personally I believe Salah is behind it. He us so afraid of taking any risk on offense that he won't even try new things except for the one game in KC. We are going to be epically bad in 2025. We will have the #1 pick in the draft for the next DC masquerading as HC to choose a QB and ruin him. We closed our own window 2 years early with the Rodgers move

He didn't have some coord trying to throw 50 times a game. We should be building around hall and a game plan to suit that strength, touching the ball 20-30 times a game
