Rodgers shouldn’t be blamed, if Rodgers suggested these players and Douglas accommodated, it’s the GM who should be criticized.

Rodgers likes awful players and the worst oc in the world so yeah he is partly to blame.   He had the jets coach and gm lapping up his milk the moment he first answered his cell phone.

Any way you slice it, it all falls 100% on JD.

If the argument is any of following :

Zach was rushed, didn’t have the OL, etc, that’s JDs dept.

Zach was a huge bust, should have kept darnold - JDs call.

JD chose to have Zach as rodgers backup gong into the yr. Regardless if rodgers said to stick with Zach during yr ( didn’t have to listen to him ) He had ever chance to bring in a viable number 2. Rodgers was not going to retire if Jd didn’t keep Zach as number 2 lol

If woody himself, or players, fans not happy with rodgers control, again JDs fault. Only a bad desperate gm would bring in rodgers and sign all his buddies. JD might as well wear a chauffeur hat and drive Aaron around town. Do his laundry too.

Green Bay are probably laughing their asses off.

There's a reason they always ignored his wants

And a lot of people sided with Rodgers as far as fans. But now we see what that looks like.

All of those players except Cook came from Green Bay.  :)

I supported us appeasing Rodgers last offseason mostly because I knew if we didn’t get Rodgers it was going to be another year of watching you know who stink

You can only appease him so long.  We need to draft a first round qb.  If Rodgers doesn’t like it so what

Boyle played on the bears practice squad last season. Packers moved on from him years ago.

Billy Turner was with the Broncos. Packers moved on from him.

Cook as you mentioned.

Lazard the Packers seemed to have 0 interest in bringing back, especially not at the insanely stupid contract we gave him.

And of course Hackett was the worst coach in the league last season with the broncos.

Sure, that's how Arod knows most of them. But Packers had also moved on from them for a reason.

I think this is unfair.  Teams bring in players who know new systems all the time.  It should be no surprise that Boyle and Cobb were brought in.  Turner is mainly a vet depth player.  Lazard was playing pretty well with Rodgers throwing the ball and, with Davis retiring, was probably thrust into a different role.  No excuse for the drops because many hit him on the hands.  As for cook, remember hall was coming off of his injury and they didn’t know how long before he was back at full speed.  Rodgers to blame? Hardly.  Most of these guys are on team friendly contracts.

I have no idea what they’re going to do with Lazard.  He’s already being Healthy DNP’d.  In addition to him being terrible he must be a problem child in the locker room. I guess Aaron will convince management to give him one more chance

As much as I was not impressed with the Lazard signing and was saying all offseason he wasn’t good I do think he could be semi decent next season if Rodgers is actually playing

I’m thinking the same.  The thing is the players all read the newspapers and hear from idiots like benigno so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s getting some heat from the players.

Next year we will bring in aaron jones, davante adams and david baktiari.

Baktari is done.  We don't need Aaron Jones with Breece.  Total waste of an investment.  And Aaron Jones is on the decline.  I'm all for Adams.  THe other two... absolutely not.
