The Jets must not activate him.   It’s one thing if AR8 comes back next year, but Woody and JD must regain control over this circus.   They are better off with him retiring and taking the cap hit than activating him this year.

I think if he plays a game or two and looks good it will give hope for next year. Otherwise they go into the season with huge concerns that he’ll never be the same.

Maybe, but we have to remember the awful OL the Jets are currently fielding. I'm actually kind of amazed that ZW didn't go down as well...he took some big hits. Boyle looked shaken up by hits a couple of times on Friday.

Becton and Schweitzer may return, and that should help.  Mitchell and Newman were noticeably worse than the rest of them .

If he re-injures the Achilles the Jets can flush it all down the drain and start on year 12 of the rebuild. Saleh, Rodgers and all the Rodgers super friends can go, maybe JD too.

If the dude can play and gets cleared by doctors, let him play. If the doctors say he’s medically good to go, then the only reason to not play him is to maintain a high draft pick. Rodgers comes back and this team is winning football games

It’s a lose/ lose/ lose for Joe Douglas.

A) Injury to Aaron and JD is going to get killed for letting him play.

B ) Aaron leads the jets to some nice wins. JD will get killed for not bringing in a qb who could win while rodgers was out. Sticking with Zach wasted Aaron’s comeback. Imagine rodgers playing and these games mean something?

C) Even the great Aaron rodgers can’t do much with this offense. Further showing how incompetent Joe doughnuts is at building a non laughable offense. Rodgers gets so frustrated that he demands to woody JD be fired.

As much as I hate the idea, if Rodgers came back, played well and the Jets won a game or 2, it would do wonders for the young players on the team going into the offseason by giving them something to look forward to next year. I feel awful for guys like Garrett, Sauce, Breece, etc.
