Amazing how entertaining these games are. Teams are well coached. Schemes are sound. Play calling creative. Stadium atmosphere adding to the event.  We’ve been fed dog sh*t for 13 years.  Amazing how terrible our product is.  JD has truly sucked (can’t believe I’m writing that). Had such high hopes but were literally playing a different game than the rest of the league. It’s depressing, actually.

What are you talking about The defense was unbelievable  good. thank you Joe Douglas.

Injuries on the offensive line and complete  incompetence of offensive coordinators and the head coach on that side of the ball is the problem.

It is a strange feeling, and I am sure most on this board have it, but it feels like we are outsiders looking in..... Like the rest of the games are played in a glass dome and we are watching from the outside.....  watching other teams' fans revel in the thrill of victory or writhe in agonizing defeat....Heck, I will take either....because we as a fan base are numb..... Sometimes a familiar friend we call emotion stops by.....but only for a drink....then it's either up or down route 95 for an extended stay... while we prepare for the week ahead....knowing that we were once frequent guests of this NFL Fandom fun....but that was a decade and a half ago...what's the point of living in the past.....bartender......one more round

I genuinely enjoyed watching the Jags v Texans game. Two young, talented QBs, plenty of actual Defense being played, scoring, big plays. 

 

I forgot what real Football looked like.

I watched a lot of NCAA ball yesterday.

 

The Jets are inferior in those regards to many of the teams that played on SATURDAY.

I have actually seen teams throw past the sticks.  Its crazy, I thought the goal on offense was to get to 3rd and manageable, and if you are lucky, pick up an occasional 1st down.  But these other teams actually try to score points.

Almost like seeing real football. Instead of some half fast (see no cursing @Maxman lol) clownshow.

The 2023 Jets hired, and at this point it's not debatable, THE WORST OC IN NFL HISTORY, and it only gets better, "Nepotism"Hackett WILL BE here in 2024, because Rodgers is the de facto GM now.....because that's typical of how the Johnson Jets roll.  Extremely difficult for them to ever own even an infantessimal mistake, a Colossol one? Forget it.

And the lousy QB play doesn’t have anything to do with the way 2 different OC are left to try and call plays?

No, I’m not.  But I not taking back the idea that you can run similar offenses with Zach, Hurts and Allen.  
I also don’t remember the GB offense sucking like this with Rodgers. 
Please don’t tell me shltty QB play isn’t affecting play calling at least to some degree.

For sure, but I think when you have an MVP level QB like Rodgers was in 2020 and 2021, the OC is largely irrelevant. Rodgers was the OC. 
 

Nathaniel Hackett looks good when Rodgers is doing whatever the hell he wants at the LOS
