1st DE Mario Williams

1st LB Bobby Carpenter

2nd C Nick Mangold

3rd OT Ryan O'Callaghan

3rd QB Omar Jacobs

This is just my opinion. Feel free to pick it apart with your opinion not just "oh, he sucks!"

I Would like more offense ,But I like these picks except Jacobs I'd rather charlie W. in the 3rd ,think he has a better uside than jacobs IMO, We need more playmakers in the 1st rd if you ask me!

If Carpenter and Mangold are there for those two picks, I would be ecstatic. I believe Mangold goes before that pick, though. I would rather draft Whitehurst at QB rather than Jacobs. O'Callaghan seems like a big slow turd to me, but who am I? Certainly, not Mel Kiper.

No thanks.

Here's mine now with the signing of Kassell:

1 (4) - OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson

1 (29) - C Nick Mangold (unless Teague is signed) / DT Gabe Watson

2 (35) - DT Rodrique Wright / C Greg Eslinger

3 (71) - QB Charlie Whitehurst / QB Brodie Croyle

3 (97) - ILB Anthony Schlegel (he may not be there and if not you've got to look at CB Danieal Manning and CB Dee Webb)

I love your top 4. Rodrique Wright is a guy we need as a 3-4 end.

I'd be happy as a pig in sh!+ with this draft, with one exception.

Whitehurst instead of Jacobs.

1st DE Mario Williams - Get rid of this guy and insert Jay Cutler

1st LB Bobby Carpenter -Get rid of this guy and insert Lendale White or Marcus McNeill. Whoever is available.

2nd C Nick Mangold - Ok.

3rd OT Ryan O'Callaghan - Ok

3rd QB Omar Jacobs - Take this guy out and replace with Jeremy Trueblood or Taitusi Lutui.

If it turns out like this, it will be an excellent draft for the Jets. Note: I haven't seen Eslinger's name mentioned much, if at all, but if Mangold goes by the boards, Eslinger would be an excellent pick-up. And Whitehurst would be a solid pick-up in round 3.

My perfect draft being realistic. Yeah it would be nice to get Bush, Leinart, Williams, and Ferguson with our first four picks, but I was going for what could realistically happen. I liked Jacobs at the end of the third becuase I wasn't sure that Whitehurst would still be around. Not to mention while he has great size and physical ability. He didn't do much at Clemson in my opinion.

Clemson playing short passing offense for most of time last year... I think they utilized the offense to match Whitehurst's injured shoulder last year..

Prior to last year, he was very inconsistent and somewhat wild... that is why he is not first round talent.. Whitehusrt could be ended up in day 2 unless a pro team willingly to pay his bill for his shoulder fixed after April..

I will not in hurry to take Whitehurst in day one..
