This stat does not look good for Joe Douglas

I would go a step further and say he's the best GM the Jets have ever had. But, ya know, this is the same as saying Curly was a much better GM than Mo and Larry.

He's still a disaster and needs to be shown the door.

He was trending in the right direction and then he gambled it all on one high risk player and lost spectacularly.

The two most important decisions of his tenure were the head coach he hired and the QB he drafted. Both of those decisions have proven to be disasters.

Can we give JD a chance to see his vision unfold on the field before we’re so quick to judge? Remember this team was a superbowl favorite preseason. JD is one of the better GMs we’ve had and guys are trying to run him out of town with dumb stats

No one but delusional jet fans thought this team was a super bowl favorite.

5 years is too short, eh, not a real chance, too quick to judge, etc.

What are you thinking, 10 years, minimum?

Or would that be rushing him too much and unfair if we judged then?

24-53, on the way to a possible 24-59.

31st, 32nd, 28th, 29th, 30th (so far) ranked Offenses in the NFL.

JD certainly has brought in some quality players, but his misses outweigh the positives.  It’s time to cut ties with him and Saleh and go in a different direction.  The unfortunate thing is, I think they’re both back next season to give it a run with Rodgers.
