Good lord this Offense is putrid

Recommended Posts

No attainable QB was helping this sh*t show of an offense, none. The line sucks, the receivers after Wilson suck, the creativity of the play calling sucks. When will Jets fans learn that offense is a team, a system. Its not a QB show. Sure, an elite all world QB can cover a lot of problems, there are maybe 2-3 of them on the planet. You need a good offensive team and scheme or the offense and the QB will look like dog sh*t. Jets fans cant look beyond one position, its naive

I think it’s all of the above.

Last year we had 3/4 QBs that could run the scheme we installed. The offense suffered when Zach played and the OL fell apart, but it was otherwise okay.

This year, we kept Zach, swapped Flacco for Rodgers, downgraded at OC and brought back the same OL, which has once again fallen apart.

This is what happens when you elevate guys to leadership roles and they are not problem solvers.

Hard to say with the passing. I'm watching the Hurts carve up the 9ers right now while under tremendous pressure. Good QBs can still make plays under pressure. The run game hard to say if it's the scheme or the line but nearly every running play is doomed to go no more than 5 yards. IDEK bro. It's hard to point the finger entirely on Hackett when his QBs would be lucky to be back ups in the XFL.

That's the Jets Offense the past 12 years.

TWELVE f'ing years.

Twelve.

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Fool me TWELVE F'ing times???  TWELVE??

Nope.  No more.

And haven’t been top 10 in points since 2008 and 1998 before that.

It’s almost unfathomable how bad we have been on offense

That “run” over 12 YEARS consecutively is actually IMPOSSIBLE to do.  You could take virtually ANY Fantasy Football “WhizKid” and he could run the Jets hands down Better.  Again, those stats over 12 YEARS are IMPOSSIBLE to attain even if you tried.

I seriously think that those who own the Jets are Sadists against the fans.  They probably have a yearly “$1 Bet” that if the Jets Offense finishes Better than 30th in the league, they lose.

Can't tell is its due to QB play or offensive scheme, but absolutely horrendous.  I just can't tell if it is because of the QB or not.  We have 3 backup QBS that absolutely have stunk it up.  QB related, then boo on JD for not having a viable backup.  If not, the Hackett needs to go.  I don't care if AR8 is on the team.  Just not sustainable designing an O around a single QB.  Injuries happen and there is not guarantee AR8 stays healthy next yer.  O is a complete disaster.

That is all.

SIMPLE....

If you require a HOF QB to run your offensive system then you don't have an offensive system!

Period!

Minshew just won again

Defensive minded head coaches in today’s NFL are a joke

The Colts had two receivers with 100+ yards in today's game.

As far as I can tell, the last time the Jets had a game with two receivers each topping 100 yards in the game was back in week 13 of the 2017 season when the Jets defeated the Chiefs 38-31 at Metlife to move to 5-7 on the season (the Jets lost their next four to finish the 2017 season 5-11. Bowles was retained for the 2018 season and signed an extension after the season ended, but we fired him a year later when the Jets went 4-12 in the 2018 season.

Josh McCown went 26-31 for 331 yards and a touchdown. Jermaine Kearse had nine catches for 157 yards and Robbie Chosen had eight catches for 107 yards.

relative and Ive seen worse in other games.   Run game sucked because they stacked the line or sent extra with no concern about the pass.

please go watch some other NFL games. there you will see what OL's are supposed to do. This is one of the worst OL's I have ever seen.
