It's a day further along in ARod's recovery,

Tippmann should be back.

Zach is returning to attempt to salvage his career.( A minor but respectable reason to watch)

A day closer to the draft ...assuming the Jets get a top 15 pick ... Jj McCarthy, could be there .... A good OL in the 3rd ... Brendan Rice in Rnd 4 ... Not terrible.

Joe Douglas is perfecting his eggnog recipe.

The sun is shining gent ... Happy Holidays. ( And Merry Christmas from an Irish Catholic) emoji320.pngemoji319.pngemoji320.png

I love the optimism...

This year was heartbreaking, I cant remember being so excited for a season to start as I was for this year. maybe 2011 after our two Championship games.

However we do have things to look forward to for next year. AR8 will allow us to see what a professional QB looks like for the first time since Pennington left. No way he gets lost for the season again! Even the jets luck can't be that bad!.....

We do have a solid D and if they can stay healthy the makings of a very good o line. Yes if they can stay healthy...

Garret, Breece, Izzy, Conklin, Ruckert.... we have some pieces.

This may be a playoff team next season, I cant wait to scrub the memory  of this year out of my head!

I can see the Jets trading their 2025 first round pick to get into the late first/early second round to get a jj mccarthy.  That makes complete sense to me

Hell no, that would definitely put a jet jinx on us and rodgers again. Maybe we can trade a first rounder though. trade the number 15th overall pick of 2023 draft for a 2nd :)

Rodgers isn’t playing this year and will be even older next season

The oline still sucks

Zach is awful and his career is a back up

This franchise historically can’t draft worth a sh*t

Eggnog is nasty

Gotta go OT in first round since we don’t have a second round pick. They can pick a QB in the third round if the right type of guy is there  -  one that dropped because he was not a shiny object e.g. sam howell; brock purdy; Russel Wilson; Dak Prescott; kirk cousins; Aiden O’Connell

I tend to agree with this but it also depends on who’s shaking free in free agency.  If they want immediate oline results they almost have to go free agent.  As for drafting a qb, just not with a first round pick. Hopefully they can find a four year guy from a good program.

Exactly how I've been feeling this past week, well said! ...

Breece Hall's current slump best exemplifies the current state and my hoped for future potentials for this talented team... no explanation needed!

Happy Christmas, as they say back in the old country! And the same warm wishes to All Jets fans as they celebrate this holiday season!

I can be talked into Rodgers coming back strong (I think he’s hella motivated). I think Montana and Brady are reasonable precedents for what a motivated GOAT candidate might look like on a new team at the tail end of his career.

The big issue I have is that I don’t believe in the coach or the GM. In particular, I don’t think coach will win anything of note here. Hope I’m wrong.

Agree, but we certainly need another solid WR and as much Oline depth/upgrading we can get between the draft and FA.
