Saleh Hackett and the AR8 free agents all need to go.  If AR8 doesn't want to play for this organization after those decisions, we should trade him (or figure out whatever solution works for him).

The tougher question for me is JD.  The only thing that would make sense would be to fire him or to extend him (since I don't want him making decisions that only make sense for him to save his job).  And right now I'm leaning to him losing his job.  Just clean house.

The only reason I would lean towards keeping JD is that theres a starting OL out there if you put together all the guys Saleh couldnt get production out of and have been cut. But he hired Saleh so I have no problem getting rid of him too. This is a two year retooling. If they try to do it in one year we will be forced to let guys like Huff walk. We havent had a pass rusher like Huff in about 20 years. There will be teams closer than we are willing to give us a pick for Rodgers. The Vikings and the Lions come to mind.

It’s a good thing Brett farve wanted to leave for Minnesota in 09, instead of jets  not wanting him back in favor of mark sanchez. Or Jets would have been just that.
 

Farve had a MVP type yr in 09, while sanchez was bottom of league. Ironically farve was 40 that yr, and rodgers must better shape than he was then. They need to give him a OL, and another valuable weapon on O. Too easy to key on Garrett.
