Can you talk 75 year old Dante Scarnechi to come out of retirement?

Pay Bill Callahan a truck load of money to be associate head coach.   He is probably happy in Cleveland but you can try.

I loved Callahan's work when he was with the Jets.  A combo of man and zone blocking.  Brilliant offensive line play while he was there...

Who can the jets overpay to get the most out if that unit for next year?

I think Dante Scarnecchia is that guy but he's retired plus I'm pretty sure he was wholly committed to BB.  As usual, the great HCs also get great assistants.

Bill Callahan, as others have said as well.

Bill Callahan

Makes well over a mil maybe mill point 5 to be ol coach for the Browns

He's in his 43rd year on the job

Unless they throw in assistant hc and double his salary and give him multiple years it's a lateral move

Keep in mind Saleh only makes around 3 and is on the last year of his contract. A Callahan or even munchak hire would be seen as a direct threat to Saleh

I know no one here has heard of Mike munchak but he's a hall of Famer as a player and former hc

Munchak semi retired right? Obviously Stoutland isn’t going anywhere but he’s another.

If they ever got serious about turning the franchise around the move is to bring in a young creative offensive mind and throw money at an old head OL coach and old head DC.

Don’t seem to be playcallers who can only do that - you find somebody and if he’s an OC he’ll get a crack at HC. But some guys just settle into being very good at coaching the OL and being a DC. Worth their weight in gold.

I know who Mike Munchak is. I don't know much about him as a coach.
