Popular Post Maxman
I know they revamped the training staff and all that, time to do it again. JPPT1974
Need to indeed fix on the training staff and really beef up and utilize the offensive line. In order to prevent injuries as you keep on retooling.
SickJetFan
that whole spectacle during opening night there was real cringe moment for me how they came onto field. Somebody compared the jets training staff to the Steelers. The Steelers had the head trainer and a team of 10-12 trainers under him. The jets have the one head trainer and the rest are interns. Whatever the jets are doing it’s not working. 8

Rodger’s running out holding a flag was embarrassing, but It really was a spectacular opening ceremony. This is why they’re the Jets. They focus on nonsense (like opening intros with pyrotechnics and turning lights off). But not focusing on football and being in shape. 11 1

Look, with global warming the fear of playing on dry brown grass and dirt is no longer as a big of a worry as it was in the 60s' and 70s'. Plus, there are only 2 or 3 places right now that snowfall is even a worry.

The Gun Of Bavaria
Speaking of curses, I just did some reflection of my personal sports nightmare: LAST PLAYOFF APPEARANCE OF MY TEAMS Detroit Pistons: 2018-2019 (Lost 1st Round 4-0) Detroit Red Wings: 2015-2016 (Lost 1st Round 4-1) Detroit Tigers: 2014 (Lost 1st Round 4-0) NY Jets: 2010 (Lost AFC Championship) West Ham United of the English Premier League are literally the only satisfaction I've known with a Europa Conference League championship in 2023 (and any soccer fan will tell you that is essentially the "NIT" of the European football world - with the Champions League the big dog on the block. 1

bitonti
what we call a curse is just the passage of time the NFL average career is less than 3 years when I used to go to Mobile every year I'd hear scouts talking about players, guys who were stars, on everyone's fantasy teams and they talked about them like they were empty tubes of toothpaste. No, they'd say, he's done. His elbow's bad. We need a new safety or whatever. The teams know when a guy is done before he knows. the Ravens knew Chuck Clark's best football was behind him. The Packers knew Rodgers' best football was behind him it's like Favre - he was an ironman until he tore his bicep under Mangini a player like Becton might only have a 6 year career like Marcus McNeill - that's just how it goes sometimes

derp
Some of this is bad luck. Some is a 360 pound OT who relies on his athleticism in a league where most big OT’s are 330 and a nearly 40 year old QB and a 37 then 38 year old OT - neither of whom it seems anybody else really wanted - being old.
