VERY PRELIMINARY LOOK AT OFF=SEASON 90 MAN ROSTER STATUS

Going into the off-season, the Jets have, unofficially, 49 players with controllable contracts.

We will probably try to sign maybe 5-7 people on the practice squad and the 2 practice squad injured players (Smart & Winfrey) to future contracts.  

If it's 7, the will bring our roster numbers to 56 controllable contracts or 34 short of the 90 man total.  Leaving us looking at something like this:

• 9 - Re-signed Free Agents off the 2023 team (Maybe Siemian, Turner, Huff, Hardee, Clark, Whitehead, Davis, Zuerlein, Morstead)
• 9 - Veteran Priority Free Agent Signings from Other teams
• 6 - 2024 Draft Picks (we currently have 5)
• 7 - 2024 Undrafted Free Agents
• 5 - Non-Priority ("Street") Free Agents

That's all just wild speculation, of course.  Below is the contract status of our 2023 roster
