BallinPB
Hate Alabama but I do respect him as a top college coach of all time. Hope he enjoys retirement.

Beerfish
Bit of a shock, he always seemed like a total lifer. Netter to go a year too early than a year too late.

Green Ghost
@Lith Does Dabo go back home? If Saban had retired 2 years ago the Bama job would been his for the taking. I don’t know if there’s still enough bloom left on his rose now though.

LockeJET
Full circle...Saban and Belichick reunite in the pros for one last run ? Or Tepper offers Saban 30 million a year to come coach Bryce Young? He’s been doing more TV so most likely this is it. He’s an old man.

Already saw one report that they are expected to pursue Dan Lanning of Oregon. If I am Lanning I think I would rather keep building at Oregon than be the guy to follow a legend at Bama. 2-loss season and they will be screaming for his head.
