Which Current Jets UFA would you want to re-sign, even if we have to pay over market?

Jets currently have 18 Unrestricted Free Agents.  Which ones should be priority targets - players we would re-sign even if we had to pay above fair market value?

Well, Huff doesn't want to return here anyway.

Otherwise the only ones that jump out at me are Zuerlein and Morstead, frankly.

Greg the Leg and old man Morstead are the only ones worth any significance to bring back from this group, with the understanding Huff is well out of their price range and was gone the moment they drafted McD. 

I do expect them to keep a safety or two, given the entire position is pretty much all expiring contracts, but none deserve any big paydays, so depends on what you mean by "over market". It's very different if talking a little over vet minimum vs top paid for the position.

My thoughts exactly. Think we know as Jets fans how hard its been to find consistent kickers. Cant let those two walk. Everyone else looks expendable tbh.

i think the special teamers like zuerlein and morestad are underrated.  those guys can win or lose games on a single play.  the jets have a pretty good pair with these two.

Slightly above market? I’m cool with Greg the leg and moorestead. Extra couple hundred k to keep woods, Harrison, or Solomon Thomas, sure. Above market like paying huff 22m a year, no.

I expect many of the lesser names to be back in addition to both kickers. I'd be very surprised to see Huff back,  not at all surprised to see Siemian and McGovern back.

In fairness "over market" would probably mean he'd only have to pay the Jets back half of what he was paid this year, rather than all of it.

Jefferson played really well last year but only the kicker and punter are worth paying premium money to.

Does the play of Irvin Charles on special teams make Justin Hardee expendable. Hardee is a great special team player, but we didn’t miss a beat when he was out.

Definitely a fair point, but it will probably come down to how significant they feel his contributions as a captain are.  Just look at the insane amount of money that has gotten Mosley from this team.

I'd also keep Hardee,Jefferson Davis and Thomas but I don't think a premium is required. Would definitely pay a premium for the two kickers. 

If Al Woods can play he's worth resigning but he had a tough injury.

I said none of the above, because no one on that list screams out, however both kickers need to be resigned and there's no questions about that.
