Just watching these playoff games, it's apparent that we are so woefully behind being competitive to the Chiefs, Ravens, Bills, even the Browns in games that really matter. Our offensive schemes, OL, lack of quality receivers, an incompetent GM and HC, poor drafting, a ghastly OC, a 40 year old rickety QB, not to mention Woody. To think that we have even have a sliver of hope that this gets turned around in Rodger's tenure here is delusional. To top it off, we traded away our 2nd rounder and have so many needs and a bloated salary cap with a plethora of dead weight. There's no way we catch up with this regime. at the helm  Prove me wrong.

we just seen McDermont go for a fake punt that almost cost them the game. in every playoff game i see dumb coaching calls, Fumbles, drop passes for TDs, penalties.

these things happen to everybody not just the Jets. if Rodgers plays well and we add a LT and WR we can compete with these teams. 

did you forget we almost beat KC.? if it wasnt for a Zach Wilson fumble maybe we would have.

Regular season nonsense.  We won't make the playoffs, not next year or in '25 with Rodgers We're behind Cincy, JAX, Bills, Chiefs, Pittsburgh, Miami and watch NE turn it around next year the way this is going.

Agreed, I know it’s trendy and hip to cry about the Jets being far away but objectively it’s just a healthy Rodgers and some OL reinforcements. When you scratch and claw to 7 wins two years in a row while trotting out QB 32 of 32 it certainly doesn’t fit the narrative that the overall roster is bad.

See how the off-season goes… healthy Rodgers and a wr and some lineman will help… cincy has burrow so they will be there, but they are likely losing higgins, So that could set them back, they have to pay chase too… who knows what they look like.

jax hasn’t proven anything… Trevor Lawrence, stat wise is a prettier Daniel Jones. 
 

we’ve had Allen’s number.

Steelers have Mason Rudolph at qb and a failed kenny Pickett.

miami were frauds and couldn’t beat a winning team

the chiefs will always be in the convo with Mahomes, but we could’ve beat them this year and they were bearable all year.

could be interesting as long as we address what needs to be addressed.

to be honest, the only team that has really impressed me most of the year has been the Ravens.

 

These teams are all beatable.

 

this year, we beat the bills, eagles, destroyed the Texans, and came within a hair of beating the chiefs - all with Zach Wilson playing QB.

i don’t see why we can’t retool and be competitive next year with Rodgers. Now, will we? Probably not because we always screw up, but we certainly can

Do you think we don't know this?  Of course we do.

Here are our options:

1: Stop watching.

2: Keep watching with realistic outlook and be forever miserable because wins or losses don't really matter.

3: Keep watching and think of ways it may not suck because sometimes you might enjoy an hour or two of football season.  If not, may as well refer to option 1 and stop watching.

The Jets were competitive with the teams playing this weekend with Zach Wilson at QB.

Even if Aaron Rodgers is just average he's a massive upgrade at QB as well as an architect of the offensive system we're running.

I think I'll wait to see how the team looks with #8 at QB before writing off the next couple of seasons in January. Pretty lame take tbh

There was a point in my marriage where my wife would ask me to fix things, like stuff with plumbing or a broken bannister. Eventually she realized that by asking me to do it I will 100% make the problem worse. And the icing on the cake is that I really love going to Home Depot to buy the thing that's gonna help me break the broken thing even more than it already is broken.

We tried to make it a 1st rounder, but Rodgers got hurt.  If Rodgers didn't get injured, the Jets would have still missed the playoffs, due to our horrible offensive line, and we'd be out of a 1st rounder this year, instead of a 2nd rounder.
