I remember when woke fans trashed the logo because of some incoherent racism allegation and we're looking to use the great logo they have now (sarcasm). I remember telling multiple people here that the logo was actually to honor the local indian tribes.

Thought some.might be interested before it gets censored by the NFL.

The new ownership group has stated they have no intentions whatsoever of bringing the old name or logo back.

Far more likely that another rebrand, post-Snyder, will happen in the next 2-3 years, and we'll have the Washington Red Wolves, Red Hawks, Red Hogs, or similar instead of the 'Ders.

Looking forward to it.  The Snyder Era names, "Football Team" and "Commanders" are, IMO, horrible low effort stuff.

Not shocking - The “Redskins” was a great name that the vast majority of Native Americans were not offended by, according to polling. 

Regardless, anything would be better than “Commanders”  

no matter what they do, they need a better team name than Commanders.

An excellent compromise would be the "Washington Sunburns".

Though I still think the "Washington Riggins" (with John Riggins' face as the logo on the helmet) would be awesome!

No one wanted the name changed. Iconic franchise with an iconic history. The rebrand to Commanders made it 1000X worse. You pan to the stands and everyone has Redskins gear. One of the worst decisions a company has ever made. On par with Coke 2.
