In real time, it’s likely that Woody thought his #2 overall pick could fill in as well as Wentz or Flacco. After the season, when everyone inside the org flipped to CYA mode, they sold Woody the story that everything would have been cool if 1. Rodgers didn’t get hurt and 2. They were allowed to sign Flacco or Wentz. What Woody is taking to press here is a story he likewise thinks will sell. I’m angry! We better win! We would have been awesome if not for those meddling Wilsons and their stupid dog!

Last I checked he’s still on the team. If this is really a falling out/fractured relationship then thank god. What’s odd is everyone knew Zach couldn’t play before this season started and they deliberately hid him in preseason games. I don’t think anyone actually thought he improved.
