rbstern
I'm sure you all saw Kelce bump Andy Reid and yell in his face. Chiefs win, and all is good. "Just passionate." "Love it." Jokes about it. Media fawning. Etc. What do you think the storyline is, had the Chiefs lost?
JohnnyLV
Same storyline. He is a charismatic white dude dating the biggest pop start in the world that offers a completely different audience to the NFL
Biggs
No story. Reid isn't a ref. He's a spokesperson for an Insurance company.
bonkertons
The storyline is: "winning cures all" That's the beauty of sports. sh*t like this. Not to mention weird ass play calls that don't work out. All is forgiven if you win.

Popular Post sirlancemehlot
Even with the win I thought it was disheartening to see a jacked football player attack a 65 year old man who is going to be a first ballot Hall of Fame Coach. It's an ugly precedent when your players can physically shove their coaches and scream in their faces without repercussions. And Kelce hasn't even owned it. Anger Management looks to be a real necessity for ol' Travis once the fairy tale of football has faded away. This isn't the first time he's a very public explosion of temper. Good luck, Taylor. 5 2

Arsis
To me it seemed like he was coming in hot and misjudged and bumped him and tried to catch his arm to keep it up. Was it appropriate? No. Is it a big deal? No. He and Andy apparently have that kind of relationship.

The other thing I didn't like was that WR (Rice) giving Mahomes sh-t for missing him at the end of regulation. While Rice was right that he was open and it would've won the SB, how in the world can you complain about Patrick freaking Mahomes?!

GreenFish
I think the story in the media would be the same. My view would be the same as well. He’s a hot head. That was a big red flag.
Popular Post Beerfish
If Kelce does not come out and profusely apologize KC ownership and the GM should fine him or blast the hell out of him publicly. Hey I get it, big game you get upset at some things, the guy you are berating and bumped basically has made your career and your post season success. You cannot lose your cool to that extent. And yes if I was 'Taylor' I'd be thinking about that act as well. 3 1

This place is always a circus. Worst in the NFL." Happens on the Chiefs and they win the super bowl. The difference is winning. The rest is irrelevant. FWIW, if Patrick Mahomes can complain to Josh Allen about the officials after a game, Rashee Rice can certainly complain that the dude didn't throw him the ball. Not the type of guy I'd want my sister with. But she's not exactly without means here. The 2022 Secret Service budget was $2.6 billion. Last I read she's making $4 billion off this tour. I'm sure she has the security around to handle one dude on roids.

We also root for the worst possible franchise we could right now. But in my opinion, yes, Kelce is a winner but I also think that nonsense he pulled with the coach was little worse than most. Andy Reid is old, fat and out of shape, I was literally worried about the Walrus bastid falling down and breaking his hip when Kelce bumped him. I'm kind a of a gentle soul so maybe that's it, but it just seemed like a really bad look.

extmenace
He's overall regarded as a good team mate. When you're that good, youre going to get some slack. Great players are wired all sorts of ways. If it were antonio brown after years of issues, its one thing. Kelce, chalk it up to the moment. This is a non issue.
