The Jets signed Tomlinson with hopes of solidifying the left guard position but despite an impressive list of accolades upon arrival, Tomlinson never lived up to the hype. Having never missed a game for the Jets, the former 49er was incredibly durable, but that’s not always a good thing when you can’t block anyone. Week in and week out, Tomlinson was a liability up front.
