Tyler Guyton looks to be in great shape. Huge but still looks slender. Surprised he didn't run faster, but who cares.

The worry with Guyton and Mims seems to be lack of starting playing time.  Guyton certainly looks the part.

My fear is that the Jets fall in love with Mims and find out he’s not really ready to pass block at an NFL level until we’re midway through preseason and Aaron Rodgers is getting his ribs x-rayed

JC Becton

This guy is on my 'Do not draft' list, thus the chances of the jets taking him are high

Joe Douglas taking JC Latham feels extremely Jetsy

they just don't learn from their mistakes

Spoiler alert none of these guys are ready to pass block at an NFL level right out of the gate

unless your name is Quenton Nelson or Penei Sewell there's going to be an adjustment period

Remember how bad DBrick was as a rookie? that's why this plan to fix the OL through the draft RIGHT NOW is doable but also very suspicious. The Jets could just sign a bunch of vets like Trent Brown and Bakh and do whatever they can to get Douglas and Saleh their extensions

none of these fools have time to develop a line anymore

Idk I still think that’s a stupid comparison. I don’t get Becton vibes with him. But who tf knows

yeh becton is actually better than Latham

the last time anyone saw JC Latham play football he was getting blown up by Michigan 4th down and the game on the line

That’s why you have you pick a weapon here or QB or trade down. This rookie tackle talk is a disaster waiting to happen

This is my guy if we can get out of 10.

If they think there’s a good chance he can play tackle, his versatility plus AVT’s would make cobbling an OL together more straightforward on paper. Pick up an extra day two pick, add a developmental tackle on day two and an iOL early day three, and see how that plus FA works out.

40 yard dash for oline is foolish.

They should make them run 20 yards or put a sled in front of them and make them push it 10 yards or something.

💯

The only applicable reason for that type of measurable is if you expect to throw a lot of picks and want to see if any of the big fellas can chase it down.

Pointless.
