Just heard Cimini on my drive home saying that he knows of three teams are are in on Becton.

I'm not wishing ill of the guy, but damn is it gonna' suck if he gets back to 100% and plays the way he did (or better) as a rookie.

I remember hearing Tennessee was interested.

They’re all in it for the money.

I mean yeah but a lot of guys are in it for the sport too. They want to be the best, compete for championships and all that goes with it.

I don't think that stuff is very important to Becton. Could be wrong obviously I don't know him. Just the impression I get.

I get what you’re saying, and yeah. Becton probably didn’t/doesn’t have the inner drive a lot of pro athletes do. He strikes me as the guy who was always bigger and stronger than everyone else, so he didn’t have to push himself until he reached a level where he couldn’t get by on that any longer.
Then he had to try to learn how to work as hard as everyone else around him does.
He’s probably still learning how.

That actually fits.  Guys we released that had success.  Not guys who left us. How’s your golf game???  I pit in a launch monitor.

Friggin awesome.  Had my 6 year old grandson over……. He loves it. Me too.

I’m playing pretty well, but the top of my bag is sooo different from this time last year. 3W and 3H are both gone, I went 4W, 7W then 4&5H. (I’m even considering a 6H… it’s just a question of finding one that gaps well between the 5H and 7i.

I’m a little jealous looking at that sim. I’ve been considering one but I only have to  go about a quarter mile to get to our practice area and range. That said, when my grandson is the same age as yours? I’ll probably be back on the Island and have him hitting balls on mine too. It’s so cool you’re getting to do it now!

His rookie year he took lots of penalties and gave up a lot of sacks.

He was decent on the run and bad at pass pro. He has gotten worse at everything since.

People need to stop pretending he was anything but below average his rookie season.

Yes, we all remember everyone talking about how decent he was as he launched defenders all over the field.

LOL

What the going rate for a LT that was among the league leaders in sacks allowed and penalties? Who is also injury prone and has a weight issue?

The problem is they’re probably going to replace him with a guy 8 years older who’s played about 5 games in the past 3 seasons.

You can tell he definitely gets that part now. It doesn't mean he will ever be a beast at his position but he definitely has learned a lesson about just getting by on his looks and size.
