JetNation
According to Ari Meirov, and confirmed by Thomas Morstead himself, the New York Jets are bringing back punter Thomas Morstead. It is reportedly a two-year deal. It comes off a strong season for Morstead, who was asked to punt 99 times. The 15-year veteran averaged 48.8 yards per punt last season in his second round of duty with the team. Morstead’s exceptional performance last season made him a fan favorite. With not much to cheer about on offense after the Aaron Rodgers injury, Morstead routinely put on a punting clinic.
