  1. 1. What Position Will The Jets Take When Drafting Mr. Irrelevant ???

Jets Will Be Drafting Mr. Irrelevant.  Will they do as well as San Francisco did with Brock Purdy ???

It would be outlandish to suggest that a fan could predict who the Jets will draft there, but I suppose it will be interesting to predict the position.

tiny long shot linebacker.

Could be, yes.  A LB/SS tweener.

Another way to think about it.  Go for a skill position from a small program, but one that had big numbers.  Along the lines of Danny Woodhead or such.

And another thought... Instead of going for a skill guy, take an OG with measurables, character and need for technical improvement.  Less sexy than going for a skill guy and hoping he pops like Brock Purdy, but probably more of a chance and getting some utility from.

Just a few thoughts.

no matter who it is some people on this board will have him as a future starter.

remember last year some people were saying Kuntz was going to make the team? lmao

For sure... Some here will have him as a starter.  And some will have their number one pick at 10 as a sure bust before training camp starts :-)

For me, the draft is not nearly as important as the Rodgers saga.

My statement here.  If Rodgers does not miss any significant time, the Jets will be in the playoffs.  JD and RS will be back.  If Rodgers misses more than 8 games, the Jets will miss the playoffs.  JD and RS are gone.  No disrespect to Tyrod.  Just figuring that getting bitten by the same snake twice is gonna be fatal.

i agree. if Rodgers plays all 17 games were in the playoffs and everybody is back.

if that happens this place will be unbearable every time they lose a game.

I like our chances of finding our next franchise QB with the Mr Irrelevant pick.

After several failed attempts with #1 picks, using 7th rounders on our QBs is the way to go!

The odds probably aren't much worse, and we'll probably be picking guys who have actually produced in college rather than toolsy 'prospects'.

I think it might also be unbearable anytime we win a game too - lol.

My choice:

Tom Pelissero ⁦‪@TomPelissero‬⁩

OL Travis Clayton — an English ex-boxer and rugby player — is a name to watch in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The NFL International Player Pathway prospect has had 5 private workouts plus 4 upcoming visits with NFL teams and recently ran a 4.79 40 at 6-7, 301 pounds with 35-inch arms. 👀 pic.twitter.com/CNZYyT5MFk
