Something we don't want to talk about with Rodgers

He didn't get hurt on the first play he got hurt after three plays being murdered out there. 

He looked gun shy, like he didn't know what to do. Look I'll admit I am the biggest fan of Rodgers as a jet and I have no doubt he leads us to the promise land with this team 

BUT you saw well as I what those plays looked like and how he just took the hits.

Was it first drive jitters? Too big a moment?? Was it just poor line and what we found out later, the play designs and calls were crap?

I don't know but I know it wasn't all sunshine and rainbow with 8 under center. He looks indecisive and like he was lost in headlights before he got hurt.

Maybe my memory is wrong and someone else knows better but as far as I know Rodgers is healthy, the line should be more that good as of right now with no other additions but man if Rodgers gets three pass plays to open the season and Wilson is our only option at wr I'm a little worried. 

It did not look good last year before the injury. Hackett better not ruin this season too

You have to keep in mind that it was the opening game and drive of the season in MetLife and with a new team after being with one team his whole career. Not a huge surprise he looked nervous on the 1st drive. I've no doubt he would have settled in. You can't take much based on how he looked those 4 plays.

I'm too lazy to go back and watch the short drive he played in the preseason but I don't recall him being like that then.  I think it was just NY 9/11 new team vibes.

In my opinion, sitting out the whole preseason, putting players in bubble wrap, is dumb… And then, when it count all the sudden they have to be in game speed… I know Rogers has played 1 million years… But this is a new team, and perhaps he gun shy because he needed to get into the groove. He never got the preseason.

He looked fine in the little preseason part but was deer in the headlights on that first drive.   He froze on a simple play in which a 20 year seasoned vet should have gotten rid of the ball.

Remember this is what we are getting going into this year.

A guy who's last year in Green Bay was his worst since his rookie year in which they lost the last game of the year at home and missed the playoffs.  The same team looked really good this year and Love was far better than rodgers had been the year before.

A full year out of the game.

Coming off an Achilles tear.

40 plus years old.

I think his arm is fine but less mobility and not sure about the head space, he has to be extra good becasue he is getting zero help from an oc.

Allen looked like he did meth before the jets game opening night... I think Rodgers will be fine

Someone brought this up shortly after his injury as well.  Trying to come up with some deep thesis about how Rodgers might be washed because of how he looked on 4 plays is about as reactionary as it gets.

Look if you say he looked fine 100 percent you are lieing. If you say he looked terrible 100 💯 you are lieing too. But I much rather him get a drive in game 3

I don't think he is washee at all but he did seem to have everything on his shoulders and he didn't look right. I hope he gets some reps in pads
