83Kelly2Allen18
I love the additions but I'm worried about lingering injury concerns. Will Moses need shoulder surgery? How serious is it? How soon can Vera Tucker get back to form? Love Tyron Smith but can he hold up. I like Warren and think he can fill in for Smith but we still need real reinforcement behind Moses and Vera Tucker. Even if they hold up, both tackles are only a one year plan. I really hope Douglas still drafts a ot and guard fairly high. Doesn't need to be the first round tho 2 2

How serious is it? Had no clue he may need shoulder surgery. Find this highly unlikely, he wouldn't pass a physical for this trade to go through How soon can Vera Tucker get back to form? Hard to say but I'd imagine an achilles is worse for a lineman because there will be 300lb DTs applying force to 60 times a game. I'd be very impressed if he's full go to start the season. Love Tyron Smith but can he hold up. That's the 20M dollar question. Best not leave it to chance and find a HIGH quality backup. I like Warren and think he can fill in for Smith but we still need real reinforcement behind Moses and Vera Tucker. I don't think you can rely on Warren for anything. I'll never criticize a rookie harshly, but he did get beat, a lot, last year when he played. Even if they hold up, both tackles are only a one year plan. Correct, huge concern for next year when you still have to protect an even older rodgers I really hope Douglas still drafts a ot and guard fairly high. Doesn't need to be the first round tho See above in bold. My ideal scenario is slight trade back and still take 1st rd OT.
BCJet
The question really is how many games do we think Tyron Smith will actually play. We dont have a great track record lately with injuries and combing that with his age, size and awful metlife turf, if we get 10 games out of him that would be great IMO
83Kelly2Allen18
I don't mind trading back, but I also hate the idea of passing up on Bowers, Odunze or Nabers/ Thomas

Like I said in a previous post, I hope they keep ten olineman

Patrick Paul is another ot I like later in rd2-3. That's why they might trade down
83Kelly2Allen18
I'm more relieved about Moses. I forgot they need to pass a physical. Hopefully he's good. Made zero sense to let him go

Made zero sense to let him go I think his departure was more about his own wants / needs rather than us saying "we're good". Not every player is happy to stay where they were if there are better opportunities to be had. Huff is a good example - the guy wants to be an every down player, we don't want to do that, or pay him like that, so no point trying to force it.

OilfieldJet
I favor continuing to build the OL. I would not stand pat here although we now have better flexibility in the draft, a series of good moves.
Warfish
It's quite reasonable to predict that by the mid-season point, 3-4 of the starting O-linemen are likely to be done for the season with injury, given their histories. Especially playing on the notorious Met Life turf. So O-line depth will, once again, likely be key. Same old same old tbh.
Scotty Wooty Doo Doo
Trade back from 10 and still grab a OT and Guard , along with 2 WR and a S , LB and a QB

bonkertons
I think Mitchell gets slept on. Dude came off of the blood clot issue, got bounced around the line, mostly lining up next to practice squad talent. All things considered he shut down Maxx Crosby last year. That’s enough for me to buy in to him still having some upside.
