Beerfish
I am happy the jets are talking and scouting mid to late tier QBs in this draft. Our #3 guy should for sure be a developmental guy

It's an particularly important skill for a Jets' QBs to be able to keep playing after getting absolutely destroyed by a blind side pass rusher. 2 1

Adoni Beast
If he's there in the 4th we should absolutely draft him....just not sure he makes it there.

JETSxWRATH™
Fans put way too much stock into how "tough" a QB is. Can he read a defense, how easily is rattled by a blitz, how good is their pocket awereness, can he complete a simple ******* screen pass to a WR? That's what you need to worry about. Peyton Manning and Brady are two of the best QBs in my lifetime, and their toughness isn't one of the first things that come to mind when I think about them. Mental fortitude is much important than physical toughness in a QB 1

Jimmy 2 Times
My favorite quarterback in the draft. He could be our third round steal.

Is it funny to say that a 220 LBer hitting a QB is a 130 lb cornerback? If so please tell me how. I'm so out of touch with what qualifies as funny nowadays. Mental fortitude is much important than physical toughness in a QB I dunno, man. I think he's worth taking at 10 after the toughness he showed in that clip. Might even trade up to 1 overall to snag him. That's all that really matters at the QB position
Bobby816
Obviously skill is what matters. But the ages of some of these QBs has to play a part. Pratt is 22 and turns 23 after the season. Not young really. But in comparison to other guys in that mid round area he’s young. Penix turns 24 in a month Travis turns 24 in a month Milton is already 24 Rattler turns 24 a month into the season Nix is already 24 For example Zach Wilson is still only 24 and has been in the league 3 years. Of a guy is sitting on the bench for a couple years. You’d rather it be a guy younger.

If they drafted nix, he could sit for 2 yrs and still have a good 10 year career here.

kevinc855
Every late round Jets possible qb thread will make him to be the next Tom Brady. Ehh most likely 3rd stringers but sure take a stab. Nothing to lose with Rodger’s being ancient

We have had a carousel of disgusting QB play here for years - if we find a guy who starts at 25/26 instead of 23/24 and we get 10 years of great QB play does it really matter that we didnt get 12 years? There is also a strong argument to be made that you need more college starts and more years to mature as a person coming into the league. No one has ever questioned Zach's talent but he has never once exhibited any sort of leadership here. Taking the OL on a golf trip is very different from leading the team so ill happily take a good 24 year old who falls in the draft a bit because they are "too old"
