Jdeet
With his ridiculous pro day numbers and rumors of the Giants leaning towards taking Penix at #6, there could be 5 QBs in first 6 picks. Leaving a very good chance of Jets getting Odunze/Bowers or trade down for OT. Personally hope we take the pick and take the playmaker, rather than the OT trade down. Thoughts? New draft consensus: Bears - Caleb Williams Commandeds - Jayden Daniels Pats - Drake Maye Cardinals - Marvin Harrison Jr Vikings (trade up) - JJ McCarthy Giants - Michael Penix Jr Titans - Joe Alt Falcons - Malik Nabers Bears - Jared Verse Jets - Rome Odunze / Brock Bowers 2

Augustiniak
I think the raiders or broncos are going to trade up into the top 9 to get a qb, which will push a wr to 10.

Yeah, I could see one of those teams, trading with the Chargers, instead of the Vikings. I don’t think there is a QB to get beyond 6, other than Bo Nix, who likely is more of a late 1st. The Giants won’t be trading out. They will pick either the QB or WR. They need both.

But i do think someone is trading up for either penix or nix.
derp
I think best realistic top six is for the Jets: -Williams (Bears) -Daniels (Commanders) -Maye (Vikings trade up) -Harrison (Cardinals) -Alt (Chargers get boxed to staying and picking because Harbaugh doesn't want to trade McCarthy in the division but they want OL) -McCarthy (Giants)

They're down a third and Callahan may have his eye on a specific OL who isn't Alt.

But seems like things are moving towards the big 5 QBs going top 6. I don’t think Nix is worth the trade into the top 10, but maybe other teams do. We will see. They can trade down and still get the WR or stay at their pick and get Nabers. Their pick is going to have a lot of value. The Pats trading out would be fine with me. Likely they would be trading with a team that wants a QB.

Jmo I think Raiders trade back more likely . They want a Cb and a Rt more. You finish adding all the pieces you need before you trade up for the Qb. I think they are running back with A OConnell at Qb . The kid been in the Raiders facility with like 35 players working out every day for the last two months. Raiders defense line wants to be the best in the NFL next season.

Chargers lost both of their starting WRs and I would think they would want weapons for Herbert. But I think the rumors are the Vikings are the team that wants to trade up for McCarthy or Maye. The Chargers seem to be capable of moving back and still get Thomas Jr or another WR with their pick.

Broncos and Raiders won't trade with the division rival Raiders, which would mean they'd have to get 1 spot ahead of them, meaning Vikings would also need to get up to #4. I understand what has led folks to believe that the Chargers will prioritize WR, I’m just pushing back on it. Harbaugh had always built around in the trenches first and he’s been openly talking about it during the process. They certainly could go WR but I think it’s penciled in too much given what we know about the folks who run the team. Which brings me to the next point, I think they want to trade down (and get a RT, though Slater will be up for a deal soon) but don’t know who they trade down with in the scenario I outlined. Presumably it’s for a team who wants McCarthy, and yea Minnesota is likely Maye or McCarthy, but Minnesota has already traded up for Maye in that scenario.

Caleb>Bears; Daniels>Commies; Maye>Pats; McCarthy>Vikes; MHJ>Chargers; Nabers>Giants; Alt>Titans; Turner>Falcons Cards>Oduze Jets>Fuaga, but noted Bowers had equal odds.
