Davante has had it with Raiders

Recommended Posts

Just saw this on youtube. Davante really laying it on the Raiders.  What would you realistically, in reason, give up for Davante to come to the Jets.  His days are short lived with Raiders and they are in no position to trade up to get Jayden Daniels at #2 or #3.

I don't want him.  Too big of a salary and he's not young.  We have way too many holes to fill going forward to throw away draft picks.

I dont care! We just want to win ONE Super Bowl inthis century and this is our best chance in over 50 years.

I agree here.

This team is in a lot of trouble after this year - and QB being the weak link, we need to get him as much help as possible.  Might as well be full-on all in.

Pre-6/1 trade, the Raiders would eat a 25,000,000-ish dead cap and the Jets would take on ~$17,000,000 in 2024 salary, then have to figure out how to restructure Adams’ remaining two(?) years. If you wanted to make something work with the Raiders, I’d guess you could cut JFM to open up the cap space, then compensate the Raiders with a pick swap from 10 to 13, with the Raiders also including a conditional 2025 pick, and the Jets throwing in Zach Wilson to clear $5.5mm. Then you just pick Fuaga at 13. Not too shabby.

i agree.

everyone who is paying big money to a QB are getting rid of there high priced older WRs. and if Diggs got a 2nd rd pick you got to figure about the same for Adams.

these teams are replacing these guys with younger WRs and we should do the same.

Oh fine.  I'll tell Joe Douglas to make the trade.

Keep dreaming . Not going to happen . How many times you going to post this nonsense.

Would you do:

Raiders get—Pick 10 (Penix), Zach Wilson

Jets get—Davante Adams, Pick 13, 2025 conditional fourth based on Adams making the Pro Bowl

LOL you said Zach....... This is almost as good as @Raideraholic crying all over the place as his team is going straight to sh*t.

Trading back in this draft is of great importance. If we can move back to 16 -20, we can get a pick in the 40-60 range. From what I’m reading in many of the rankings of top “experts” you can find a very good OT & WR. Generational…. No. Quality pieces to develop and can contribute this year…yes. That also allows pick 72, 111, 134 & 185 to build depth or pair with a 2nd or 3rd to move up to get your guy.

I’d love Odunze or Alt, but I’d sign on for a Latham/Fautanu with a Worthy/Legette/Wilson pairing with a double dip at WR with Pearsall, Walker or Polk @ 72.

JD has to get the move down. He’ll have to give away the 3rd + change to get to 5…. 111 + 134 to get to 8 or 7 or some 2025 draft capital to move up.

Is it worth it?

How you know it’s off-season Jets fan talking Super Bowl.   This is your time of the year so why should I be the guy to destroy your fantasies .     You have five more months to enjoy yourself, before reality sets in.     Have fun and dream the dream.
