bitonti
Nasty attitude, great 1 gap penetrator, very strong - but not nearly as good a prospect as Ngata in my book. Bunk's knee is very suspect after several major injuries. Bunkley's upside is as a Warren Sapp type but if he doesn't become a 10 sack player he's basically Darnell Dockett, an undersized nose tackle who plays tough but can get overwhelmed at point of attack. bottom line Bunkley is barely 300, Ngata is 350. Why would anyone take a smaller player at that position all things being equal?

Why would anyone take a smaller player at that position all things being equal? Bit, how do Ngata and Bunk project as 3-4 DEs? Ngata seems more like an NT type, but can he play both? Bunk looks more like a straight 3-4 DE to me. I would think the Jets don't even see him as a potential nose tackle. Put another way: how would you say Bunkley and Ngata compare to Ty Warren? PeterNorth09
We're not going to get Bunkley. We could draft Ngata at 4 and that would be a smart move but it probably won't happen. Watson may last to 29. That means Dusty Dvoracek in Round 3. Guy has decent size, can rush the qb, plays the run well and has a mean streak. Cyberjet
Ngata will be the Jets first pick. It makes far too much sense in solidifying their defensive line - it's a relatively safe pick and more of an immediate impact pick.

He tore his ACL and had a bone bruise last year. Still, I would be happy if they got him because it would greatly help our run defense.
