You need players, but your ability to maximize their skills is heavily dependent on coaching. Harbough obviously didn't signed up for the Charges envisioning tanking.  Let's see how the season plays out for the underdogs, but proclaiming disaster on other teams is a bitter sentiment from our own misery.

Who predicted disaster?  The Chargers are in a competitive division.  They could win 7 games and still finish in last.

I watch a ton of football and go back far enough to remember when the Raiders were actually real good with a great owner who wasn't suffering from dementia.  Apparently much of the current fan base is old enough to be suffering from dementia.

The Raiders have gotten so bad they were a trap game for the rest of their own division last year.  I would be very careful about putting any stock on the Raiders SB win against the Chiefs in a regular season game that meant nothing to either Reid or Mahomes.

This isn’t the AFC least , this is the AFC west.    Every division game means something to every team, and their fan base.      Travis Kelce they had to keep him in to block , or Mahomes would have been on his arse.     Raiders are built to beat the Chiefs - it was no fluke, and they will prove it again this year.
