The Jets have signed WR Isaiah Winstead, WR Brandon Smith and CB Tre Swilling. The team also released WR Marcus Riley and TE Kevin Foelsch.

Winstead (6-4, 213) most recently played with the UFL's Arlington Renegades after a stint with the 49ers in 2023. The Richmond native attended three colleges – Norfolk State (2017-18), Toledo (2020-21) and East Carolina (2022) – before going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft. Winstead broke out at ECU with 88 receptions and 1,085 receiving yards, which both led the team while his 6 touchdowns ranked second.

Smith (6-2, 215) also played in the UFL for the D.C. Defenders where he had 18 catches, 208 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Iowa product went undrafted in 2020 and has spent time with both the Cowboys and Cardinals rosters, but has not appeared in a regular season game. Smith totaled 91 receptions, 1,046 yards and 9 touchdowns for the Hawkeyes in 39 games.

Swilling (6-1, 196) has played in 2 games since going undrafted in 2022 out of Georgia Tech, both for the 49ers last season. He took 33 snaps on special teams. Smith, from New Orleans, first signed with the Titans before a stint with the Saints (2022) and Ravens (2023-24). He signed a reserve/future deal with Baltimore in January before he was waived July 22.

Riley (5-10, 174) signed with the Green & White as an undrafted free agent in May. The Florida A&M product totaled 34 receptions, 584 yards and 5 touchdowns last season. He began his college career at Louisville before transferring to Bethune-Cookman before landing at A&M.

Foelsch (6-4, 250) first signed a UDFA out of New Haven with the Panthers on May 10 and joined the Green & White May 22. He played five college seasons and totaled 73 receptions, 660 yards and 16 touchdowns.
