Aaron Rodgers on Fire Again as Offense Dominates Practice

Recommended Posts

Aaron Rodgers

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Aaron Rodgers was on fire today as the offense lit up the defense with Garrett Wilson being the primary beneficiary at receiver.

As has been the case for much of training camp, Rodgers lit up the Jets secondary with one impressive throw after another.  No matter who you were following on the beat (or if you were there in person), you kept seeing the names Rodgers, Garrett Wilson and the occasional Tyler Conklin reference.

According to Antwan Staley of the New York Daily News, Rodgers was 12-13 passing with “a couple of TD passes to Garrett Wilson and Tyler Conklin”.

By now the Jets offense must be itching to take on somebody other than their teammates to see what they can do against some unfamiliar eyes.

Andrew Peasley made sure Aaron Rodgers wasn’t the only Jets QB earning praise at 1 Jets Drive today.

Also garnering some heavy praise today were quarterback Andrew Peasley, wide receiver Allen Lazard and Tyrod Taylor who scrambled for a TD in the red zone.

None of this matters.

Let me know when the offense “dominates” with pads on.
