Popular Post bicketybam
Jamien Sherwood continues to impress, even on the non-splash plays. His run fills are both sound and loud (thump). He’s rewarded with an Oskie (tipped-up PD into a pick 6). Not sure if he was the main coverage man (intended for Ruckert), but whoever it was had tremendous positioning (either Sherwood, Adams or another backer). Aaron Rodgers is gonna want that one back. The pre-snap movement and formation clearly tipped the D’s hand. So, AR knew the coverage and sought the TE-LB matchup. Meanwhile, Garrett ran free on a longer-developing route downfield. #Jets Also, Ashtyn Davis is a guy who will see his time on defense this year. He’s the type who continually learns along the way, and he takes that improvement seriously. Such a great guy to have in the fold.

bicketybam
A “backed up” scenario in teams turns out disastrously for the first team. Moses is pulled for a dead-ball infraction, leading to a near-fumbled snap between AR and Tippmann under-center. Not much else happens before they exit the field. Tyrod in the same situation fires a bullet to Irv Charles who makes a tremendous CIT. JBC and n his case with great positioning, hand on ball, yet Irv comes down with it for the first down. #Jets

bicketybam
Two-minute situation for #Jets: Defense dominates that one. Last play before exiting is just blown up entirely (didn’t have a chance to materialize), and it’s the type of play that needs time and timing. First play is an incompletion to Conklin against tight coverage, but it was intentionally thrown short by AR, giving up on the play. Second play is a nice little Breece completion that doesn’t get much (3- yards), but the call out on this one is what happened pre-snap. A popular two-minute formation has the #Jets D feeling comfortable, but what AR did with Breece pre-snap had the D incredibly ACTIVE before the snap, getting into the right check. And, based on the exotic look, I get it. Solid job by AR and Breece to snag the completion, but the D won the play and the series.

JoeNamathsFurCoat
Typically anytime a trade is made for a star player seeking a new deal, parameters are in place between the player and his new team for some kind of extension / band-aid before the trade is completed. Cimini is a douchebag but the reality is the Jets were foolish to take Reddick at his word and believe he would risk his health in OTAs and camp with $0 in remaining guarantees on his current deal. 2

batman10023
sounds like a pretty crappy day for the offense. seems like when the pads get put on - the defense does better.

Maybe when our actual OL is all in there (I know Tyron isn't. Not sure who else) things will change.
