As to O'Connor; famously dubbed Joe Torre "Clueless Joe" the day he was hired by the Yankees. What ever happened, there?  Spent a year following high school senior Sebastian Telefair for his next great book thinking he was going to be the next can't miss NBA superstar rather than a bench warmer ..in the CBA who gets locked up for dumb nonsense like carrying a gun or beating up his girlfriends.
